I'm a Canadian living in Austin - I was at this show, and I've seen them at another small venue in the States - unreal. It was like seeing them play in some guy's basement. This is how rock 'n' roll is supposed to go. Huge credit to the band for still playing this kind of gig and not thinking it's below them.
haha, you know whats funny?, now a year later they are coming back to canada and playing smaller, intimate theatre shows...I got my wish...and my tickets!!! :D:D
I know it's been 3 years, but I want to comment anyways lol. They're playing an outdoor show in a field in Bobcaygeon. I imagine it can't hold much more than 6000 people.
A trip down memory lane... I caught the HIP in 2000 at the House of Blues in LA - the best concert I've ever been to. It was the coolest thing to be a Canadian - an instant connection with almost everyone in the crowd. Many drinks that night with a lot of Canadians whom we intersected with for one night.
First fell in love with this band back in 1990 after seeing them at the BackRoom...Always loved in Austin

@supercrazy I was there last night. There was at least 5,000 people. I'd say that there was closer to 10,000.
