Probably the best classical/viking metal song of the modern era. I can definitely see the classical influence on Quorthon's works in this album, but despite that he was still able to produce his own unique sound which so many other musicians fail to do these days (even disregarding the labels of genre). His other albums have a more folk influence, and they're great, but I like this album the best.

If you're such a Christian, you should know from your own scriptures "always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. Probably the best classical/viking metal song of the modern era. I can definitely see the classical influence on Quorthon's works in this album, but despite that he was still able to produce his own unique sound which so many other musicians fail to do these days (even disregarding the labels of genre). His other albums have a more folk influence, and they're great, but I like this album the best.
