VNV is so awesome. The best part is they hang around after their shows. I've had a beer with Ronan at BatCave and I will always remember how chocked up he got at the Limelight in 2001 when the Sanctuary did a video of the hell on earth us New Yorkers endured on 9/11 that was put to their musik. @schnuper450 for category purposes vnv nation falls under a form of electronic music called ebm. to be honest, i consider them pioneers of the genre but at the same time even though they're music is electronically based, they've experimented with live drums and such. each album is great in it's own way but a lot of die hard vnv fans would say "empires", the album this song is from, is the true vnv nation sound. as a decade long fan the only genre i consider them to be is awesome.

I met Ronan after his concert in Newport, KY. His song Illusion saved my life when I was about to commit suicide, and helped give me the effort to go through suicide rehab. Ronan never fails to disappoint with his voice and his inspirations, and this song is one of the best.
