i was 19 when i wrote that comment. ive been sailing since i was about 6 years old, in almost any type of boat you can imagine, from el toro dingys to 150 foot tall ships and just about everything in between. i own a 26 foot sloop, which i will admit is much easier to dock then this thing, but my family has a 45 foot full keel cutter which i have taken into slips on many occasions, 32,000 lb displacement with no thruster so i wouldn't be so quick to throw insults around.
a schooners aft mast on a two mast schooner is always taller than the forward mast....... on a three mast schooner the centre mast is always the taller
i guess it takes an "uneducated usa boy" to tell you that nebraska is a state....quite a flat one (mostly), certainly not something i would liken an ocean passage to. btw before you start making unfounded insults i am actually very well educated and probably have much more sailing experience than you.
omg! i love it! looks alot better than the one i was on! i just got back from living on a sail boat for 10 weeks in coasta rica! THAT WAS MY SUMMER VACATION!
Pretty boat...but rather unusual in that the rear-sail is behind steerage, so I guess it's technically a yawl. However, it's has lines that are closer appropriating a good many schooners. I suppose this was intentional...
That said, I could DEFINITELY have some fun sailing this one to Bermuda or Montserrat...
blue water cruiser? this thing is laughable the saloon is like 15 feet wide (i'd love to fall across that thing in a seaway) also what happens when all those servos for furling the sails stop working? what about all the power it takes to run all those "essential items" like a washer drier, deep freezer, and TWO showers? what do you expect from a company whos sales rep likens passage making to "drivng across nebraska"? lucky it has a bow thruster or those idiots wouldnt be able to dock it :)

what happens when the motor breaks - is there a manual furling option?... many, if not most permanant liveaboard cruisers often prefer traditional boats for this reason.
video molto bello, barca molto bella, se la barca fosse mia, donna bionda scalza, no tacchi a spillo su barca.

A great boat to steer, to live in and to race (yes we race with her). A very simple and very clever design
