this is brilliant and im busy building a recreated coach similar to one for a replica of the tanfield railway coaches nos 1 and 2 and they are similar and its quite easy to make a model of lion from scratch just use a 14xx chassis with some cardboard and a dapol rocket tender and the jobs done

why dont you make a thunderbolt locomotive and an old style coach like in thye film

Well the coach and loco in the version i have done are same as ones in the film. I have done a model of the coach that 'Lion' pulls in the film, but still on the look out for a kit of 'Lion' itself

Oh I've been meaning to ask. How did you create the Titfield shed? I figure its some sort of dutch barn conversion?

oh great now you need to do animation for the road sceen and need a lion

Yeh still got a fair bit to do to that layout. Its all come to a halt at the moment due to other things coming up.

Thanks will be a while yet got loads to do! I have built the Midford viaducts, just gotta make the embankments leading to them.
