  • emily chang U R SO CUTE

  • Not enough land in China. Also, Yankees stole land from the Indians.

  • Change is a tough thing. More money should be given to the people to placate their concerns, but you can't grow without change. If they keep these buildings, they won't be competitive, because these century olds villages really have no value in the global marketplace.

  • emily, you know nothing about China.

would you please precautiously make your comments on China before you really know the matters of China?

I like watching CNN domestic news on U.S, but in China from my view, CNN is not copping with its supposed duties as majority of Chinese people like to see.

  • DAAAAAAAMN! GET YO ASS OUT! 2008 olympics is seeming more and more dangerous. That is some hardcore stuff right there. Wow, an over crowded city will be filled with millions of people from around the world and all over China. Tons of pissed of people, in a tight area with nothing to gain but gold medals. (After losing their homes, vast cultural differences and etc.) All it would take for a riot is a poor olympic showing, one good punch and we have a mass hysteria...

  • you stink everywhere

  • Your mamma stinks!

Actually, my post wasn't mean to upset anyone. Yes, I know CNN is not the most reliable source of news without bias. However, the story is very real as several people I know where moved out of their homes. Money is not a fair compensation for people who invested their whole lives in a certain place. I could be wrong though. There is a lot of tension in China. You would be blind if you don't see it. How do I know? I live there. Duh..

  • your papa should complain the smell of your mom's grandma's smell, asshole

no absolutely fair in any matter, the way China deal with this matter is not all right off, but it all is in favor of our own nation.

truely, there are kind of severe tensions in China, I hope all of them can be settled down peacefully, China can't afford any chaos any more.

say hi to your family, asshole bill...

  • Well, I agree with you. Actually, I like China and I hope matters can be settled peacefully too. But, what I said is true. There is a lot of tension in China right now. I think the olympics are great and I hope China can be #1. However, you can't ignore the pressure in China right now.

Also, why are you so angry? I like the name Asshole Bill, thank you.

  • you are welcome

tensions exist all the time in all countries, what matters is how to manage by each individual government; sounds like you have a good knowledge about China, so you should understand how complex China's even single nation-wide matter is, given its vast landscape and huge population.

so far Chinese government is doing pretty good job; hope them could find ways to vent the pressure you noticed and me aknowledged.

btw, which country were you from though?

  • Actually, I will give credit, where credit is due. The PRC has done an amazing job. Considering the rapid change it has made. I don't know if any other country could have done better with 1.3 billion. However, we would be foolish to neglect problems in any society. A team cannot work without selflessness. So, the PRC must be doing something right, or the country would have collapsed. I do believe their are good and bad people in all governments. So, the real test for any government is time. USA

  • Nowadays, China's ultimate leaders can not make their decision without knowing what exactly going on. Do you notice the gray hair of premier Wen? he is aging so fast, that means his mind is full of problems, which exclude many of others you mentiond; but, from my view, Hu and Wen definitely care about their images in China's history in long run, they are trying their OWN best to lead this country; and they would pick rightous persons to relay their duties on.

  • I notice that they have a lot of stress. I do know that Mr. Hu and Wen have a grand and good plan for China. They seem to have a lot of things to think about. The fast change of China, is not easy to deal with. Everyone is so different. There are many types of thinking in China. How do you control that? At the same time, how about people that abuse their power? Is there a such thing as a fair trial for someone that has been wronged by someone that has power. I know Hu wants to end corruption
