i own a jet city 4x12 and also most every head i have tried from JC, bogner, bugera all sound harsh with my cab, so am i right in thinking the jc cabs are voiced pretty bright? and would it sound better once the speaker brake in? any help please! Thanks
oh i see... at 5.45 he swithces the tone and ups the volume on the guitar to give it that boost. sounds good but it wouldn;t work for gigging. The soundman would fuckin kill ya ha ha. Pity
i am interested in buying a little tube amp guys..i am between the jet city and the blues junior..which of the 2 would you recommend ? is jet city good with pedals like the blues junior is? and a last question.i am from greece. Can i buy from your site and bring it to my city ?
looking for a 1x12 guitar cab for my ht-5 backstair, anyone have experience with jet city cabs and or blackheart cabs? looking for something under 200$ (i know, its not much to play with)
Is this amp loud enough for playing with a drummer, another guitar player/vocalist, and bass player? I'm also gonna be playing small/medium sized bar, outdoor, and indoor shows and just need a kickass tube amp that is loud enough for practices and gigs. We play stuff like Hendrix, Stones, Kenny Wayne, SRV, Dylan, etc. please if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it

saw your vid playing the orange tiny terror. loved it. how does this amp compare? I ask cause they both use el34 tubes. does jet city 20 have enough gain to play 80s metal?
Does it just clean up well by simply rolling down your guitar volume? If not, could I run just a decent OD pedal with the clean cranked (can you get high volume cleans anyway?) and switch between the two? Im gonna be gigging soon and really would like a good and relatively inexpensive tube amp, which is a catch-22 really....... I really wish this was a dual channel, then it would be perfect for gigging.
@BOBTHEHOBO1693 Spend some money on a few good dirt boxes, and there's your second channel (or third, fourth, fifth, etc). Sounds like a great amp to me. Looking at maybe getting one tomorrow.
hey anyone who has played both a marshall haze and this, what do you think would be better amp, for blues rock played at home and in jams with a drummer who dsnt play that loud, ? any help please
I love and want Great tube tones but I have a real problem . I live in a attached house with many close neighbors . I desire a tube amp with good tone when it's played at very low volumes . Money is less of an issue . Any sugestions other than moving ? Thxs , Jerry .
I have video of me tripping and playing a guitar too. It can be entertaining to watch. I WAS hoping for an amp demo though. Maybe 'amp demo' was just some head trip thing Chappers put into his youtube title thinking it meant something about doves carrying hamburgers.
The 333 means nothing, according to Jet City. :) They did say that coincidentally, 333 is the home address of the Mathew Broderick’s character in the movie War Games and it was filmed in Seattle.
He uses the neck singlecoil with volume on 1(on the strat) for cleans, and humbucker in bridge with volume at 10 for more gain. Maybe taking off some tone for the clean. Anyone can do that.
Fuck me if you played as much as you talked I might want to buy an amp. Right now I'm more inclined to spend my extra cash on pepper spray and duct tape.
@TheBigMclargehuge I agree. They should either make another vid of playing through the amp or just shut the hell up and play. I don't give a shit how funny you are. I'm not going to date you. I want to know if the amp suits my needs. Play it, use the volume knob, and shut the hell up.
Dear Mr. Monkey Lord. your a witty chap but i lost the thread of the review in between the joking.. Do you like the amp? is it worth using? Im trying to decide between this and the Class 5.
Cool, been wanting to hear what the wee 1x12 sounds like. Wondered if it would have that Mr Soldano sound, reminds me alot of my old Astroverb very similar spec.

@Natesmitguitar Yes appologies for that, we did use two mics, Presonus firebox and a Mac - But unfortunately it would seem the levels were not adjusted correctly for the combo so there is some clipping here.
I will personally make sure that the audio is right next time ;-)
woah! Now THAT tone is right up my alley. Rob, I think you may just have sold me on this amp. The strat sounds better with this combo than the Jet City 100W head.

it's just good to know that they're there? hm, no one likes a dumb ass either. you're pretty much disliking an instrument because it lacks one tiny fret. if you're such a massive soloist, you probably wouldn't care about strats at all, and just go for a decent 24 fret guitar.
