Am I the only one who doesn't see why this is compared to the ZR1? The ONLY thing they share is a lap time on the Nurburgring, apart from that they have nothing in common.

That's not my point. His hotlap was 7:29. I believe manufacturer's claims on Nurburgring are fakes.

That hotlap was done in the production car which was set up different than the one in this video. It was also drier and cooler too. The 7:29 video was recorded on video and is on youtube, I believe.

Despite what he said it couldnt have been THAT wet cos it was as sunny as sin and there was no rain cos no wipers so I'd have expected it to dry quickly. All sorts of oversteer and understeer and a really fidgety drive. I bet he needed a f*ing beer or 2 after that drive... Just seemed heavy and wallowy...

These two cars could NOT be compared because Vette has REALLY LESS weight and MUCH MORE power so... Anybody could count it. GT-R RULEZ!!!!!

ZR1 top-speed: 176

GTR top-speed: 193

The zr1 had quite a significant headwind when they did it's nurburgring lap. Hence the 176.
