  • I'm 14 years old,and i don't know how to swim, people tell me to relax but i just can't cuz i think i'ma drown and i don't like the feel when water gets to your nose and ears,i just don't like the feeling of it.

  • @x6King6x Ik how u feel..... Im 11 and were doing swimming at school -.- im the only one in my group who cant swim.... o.o ive had a big fear of swimming since i was 6...... I HATE getting water up my nose and i just can't get my legs straight enough!! But i swam 4 meters today... :/

  • @Shigalbigal I swim to represent my school... Try keeping yourself flat. Calm yourself if you're scared of water, knowing that you can't really drown in a public pool. DO NOT swim vertically, keep your body straight and flat. To float on your back stretch out your arms and legs but keep your legs and head at an equal height, and don't bend forward. Your head, butt and legs should be the same height in the water. Hope this helps, msg me if it doesn't, I'll be sure to reply :)

  • i tried 2 times , but didnt learn it

( as soon as i get i try to lift up my legs from the ground , i feel i wanna hold something in the water with my hands,,,,, then my head goes down , and legs up lolzzz

anyone ? any suggestion , how i learn to swim? im 22 lolz thanx

  • My biggest fear in swimming is that I don't know how to float and then panic and then fear I'm going to drown.

  • @MySkyisClear You wont! the best way is to go underwater as far as you can, adn you'll float straight back up!

  • @toon671278 Yeah, but I get too nervous to relax.

  • woooosh I wud love her 2 teach me fing is i wud neva learn lolz

  • I learned how to swim at such a young age, I don't ever remember learning. The youngest age I can remember me swimming I was already swimming without any floaties. Funny thing is, my mom taught my siblings and myself how to swim at an early age, but my dad could only doggy paddle with bare feet. He needed flippers to swim regularly. Even in his 40's

  • im 11 nd dont noe how to swimm embarrassing!!!!!!!!

  • @gallardolesley0 nooo :) it's even worse when your 13 and the only one taking the swimming class with little kids haha! :)

  • @popxrocksxrock Same here. I'm 14, never swam a day in my life and everytime I jump into the water I get this strange feeling and I start to take water in. I would sink and water would start rushing in and I would get dizzy. (6'1, 200lbs)

  • @masterdmcx Good luck! hahaha im leaving for swimming lessons right now :)

  • @sinclair2002 I learned at the end of summer

  • @gallardolesley0 same here

  • Will it still be for a 11 years old?!?! (lol) but seriously!

  • My dad got frustrated after me refusing to go in the water to sink for about the 20th time. o. o Then he started pulling my leg and had me pumping my legs in front of his face. :D

  • Question: Would you introduce this to a child after teaching them basic stroke stuff (kicking, arms) or before? I'm starteing to give swim lessons this summer

  • ben 4 , no swin

  • seeing the little girl learning the swimming technique seemed easy- till you tried it yourself! as soon as my body "floats and glides", suddenly a fear overwhelmed me and i began to struggle and acted as if i am drowning...(god knows why i did that!! its so embarrassing to think about it!!)

  • why do i keep sinking ?

  • haha anyone wanna message me and help me? im 13 and im going to learn how to this summer lol!!

  • @shigalbigal lol, i learned at 15. you should probably go do that. most kids learn young, so the sooner the better. better = less embracing

  • I'm 12 and im learning how to swim from my father.

I used to take lessons from the swim center in my area, but somehow i didnt improve. But now my father takes me to the pool and shows me the basics of swimming like treading and the free style. I feel no embarrassment and i feel perfectly comfortable being taught by my father and now im improving a lot.

I suggest children like me who do not know how to swim to ask their parents if they can teach them. Thanks expert village for this video.
