Upcoming trends in the Pre-employment Screening Industry

I'm a good guy. I just want a job. I have a degree, yet I can't even get an interview. I know these tests have a lot to do with it. I don't know how they work. But, I do know they don't work with me. It's not fair. I'm honest, nice, and smart. I don't know anyone to help me get a leg in the door. I have two months left of my savings before I'm living in the woods. Maybe these test kinda work, maybe not. Just know when you're in my shoes 20 pages of these questions can get to you.

pre-employment screening checks I can understand. Pre-employment credit checks, total bullshit and social/income class discrimination.

Pre-employment Screening doesn't work. People that should be flagged get through often, and people who have done nothing wrong often get flagged, and cast aside. The person who is turned away often has no idea why. Most of us have no idea what someone may have put on our record. Also getting things removed or added if appropriate is nearly impossible. The best bet is to interview and go by that, and if they don't work out get someone else.

@PipeManChuck I was denied a job, because of a DUI. The job was not a driving job. The case was settled for over 6 months. I thought I was hired, the company HR Rep assured me that it was not an issue. But they do a background check. I was then denied, had to deal with a lady in Michigan, I live in PA. She said something that was odd to me, even a civil case would be ground for the company to not hire. If I was involved in a divorce, or a lawsuit. Just seems odd that they would say that
