I'm a new user as well, and I'm using Inventor 2012 to project a shelf for my workstation (there's a video on my channel I've uploaded recently) and everything went fine since yesterday, when all the constraints became locked. I can move objects with no constraints, but if I set a constraint on a object, it becomes locked. Could you help me ?
I'm a first time Inventor user learning 11 right now. The limits option is fantastic for air cylinders to check machine movements by dragging parts. One thing I've noticed with transitional fits, is that its better to have the tangental surface derived from a single sketch profile rather than non-tangental faces with fillet features added to the solid. I've had it get confused and mess up motion because of this and by adding fillets at sketch level, the problem went away.
thank you so much garin007 ... I appriciate people like you that helping people like me trying to understand more the inventor ... keep up the very very good work :) and thank you million times
