Its not all like that in comparison, actually.

Sound waves don't have to rub up against your ear for you the drum to respond. Kissing does involve rubbing against the piercing to some extent. & The fact of it being bothersome will vary with different people. Not all situations can be based alone off your ex-gf's experience. (As you seemed to imply).

Seeing as this is an opinion based argument life experiences are a contributing factor to what i am speaking about and shouldn't be ruled out. A hard fact may be a lot better, i accept that.

A person may be able to feel the piercing and the experience may be different, however the actual act doesn't change, that's my stance. Unless you pierce your lips together you can still kiss.

I just wanted to point out that it was a horrible comparison.

Life experiences are great to support your claim, but the way you worded your statement implied that its possible on the sole basis that you have been capable...although others may not as easily.

Such as my personal life experience,...I have a lip ring and my boyfriend have had lip rings, and although kissing can happen, for me it can be difficultly irritating because Im a huge lip sucker/biter :P It all depends.

Speaking from experience, neither really hurt that bad. If you can take your ear getting pierced, you can take a tongue and a belly button piercing without any problem. I have 17 piercings all together, including my tongue and belly button. They just feel like a little prick. Thats it.

And a little tip on the needle. Im scared of them, too. Just hold your breath and dont watch.

@ojanae19 piercings really dont hurt. ive had 11 piercing and the tongue doesnt hurt getting it pierced but the healing process can be painful. The belly button hurts less than a shot! you should deffinetly go for it and get them pierced, but dont pierce them yourself!!!

as a person who was raised in a tattoo/piercing studio this is how this will work: 0:06 will be rejected by the body and leave MAJOR scarring unless they got under tendons,not through muscle, 0:10 will get ripped out in daily life, 0:14 your knuckles are going to lock up ALOT causing severe pain, 0:40 will b rejected, 1:10 - 1:16 will sratch ur cornea and if infected you could lose ur vision, 1:36 ..... wtf is wrong with this person?! , why the hell do people risk their health for this?

One of the only long term effects of an eye piercing that I know of is that it scratches the lens on your eye and also, it's fairly easy to get caught on things and torn out.

I would not reccomend getting it done.
