my computer hard drive i have only local hard drive (c) only i hve other parts of hard drives are lost what to do please answer my question?>>>>>>>>>>>
i got a 50gb hard drive and a 400gb hard drive in my computer but all program files saves on the 50gb.. is there anyway to change it so that it saves on the 400gb? and how?
@cbgbigy if ur operating system is on the 50gb hard drive u gotta put a slave drive pin configuration on the 400gb and then it would use them in conjunction and then it would be a total of 450gb of memory on ur pc, im not sur if they show up seperate or the same in my computer (if ur using windows xp).
If your hard drive is not from the original computer, you may have to download the drivers, go to the manufacture's website and look up your computer and download the drivers for the hardware you need.
Thanks for this video. I bought a 2.5" IDE hard drive to USB 2.0 enclosure. Interestingly, when I removed my Dell laptop's hard drive there was an adapter on it. I pulled it off and put the enclosure's female pin thingie and I never saw a jumper anywhere. The instructions even say make sure the drive is in "master" mode but I don't understand where the jumper would go (if I had one) since there's a female pin thingie that has to go over the pins.
Thank you for this. Very clearly explained.
