I don't think this scene has anything to do with Larry. I think it's about what we all do: paint the past with a beautiful light, while forgetting to appreciate the special moments happening right now.
Additionally, I don't think she slept with Larry. The last we saw, she extravagantly refused. Larry's motive for saying so was revenge. But when Alice said she didn't, Danny refused to believe her and told her to admit that she did. Because Danny couldn't trust Alice, she knew it was over.

Those are probably my favorite words in the whole movie because when he met her she was untouched and no one knew her. WHen they were laying in bed he knows that she had been with Larry. So when he says you "were" perfect you know in the back of his head he thinks she is ruined.
