It was a code name, the purpose of a code is to keep something secret, like when somebody is listening in to the radio chat they would not understand what they are talking about. I would have had a problem when his code name would have been "the dark lord" "you know who" "voldermot" "hitler" or "stalin."The point was that it would not be obvious that geronimo means osama. Rather this puts geronimo in a positive context not a negative one.
@Uhmu45 I understand what you are saying but our people struggled to fight for our land and shed blood for it and why use that name when they could of used a diffrent name such as george washington or christofer columbus would it be the same meaning for them?? if not then I guess it doesnt mean anything to them what they did for them to be here...............
