  • Very nice video. Good work as always Alex. ;)

I agree 'bout accuracy and intensity, it's very nice bein' able to kill a person's cigarette's amber from few feet distance with a single blow from a whip! Hah! And so much more, the possibilities with a whip are endless..

    Cheers from Iceland, ;)

  • I recall with great fondness a "cigarette butt" incident outside the Viking inn at Hafnarfjordur at chucking out time a few years back. Have we met on Viking campaign?

    Alex.

  • Excellent whip handling...precise cracks, in command, confident, not afraid of putting the whip through its paces.

I'm sure he would be very good in s&m whipping. I would gladly submit to his whips....

  • Hi broncobustr.

Thanks for your comments but this is not an SM site.

    This is performance bullwhipping.

  • Cheers for that. I don't do much fancy cracking - only strokes which could accomplish something target-wise. Accuracy and intensity control are my thing. Alex

  • Very interesting, looks really elegant.

    More please :-)

  • Hi Oliver, Alex here...

Cheers - I had a look at your own and like the economy of effort. Sarah and I have a couple more videos planned, when weather permits....

  • Hi Spurlt

As Alex said this particular video shows various types of bullwhip cracking that Alex Cobra has used in his stage shows in London.

  • Where is the sense in doing this?

  • Firstly there is the art of transfering energy smoothly and efficiently. This requires technique and practice. Then you can use it for target work (there are many target sports so the sense here is well known), cracking routines as per the whip competitions in Australia or stunts involving a partner. I regard whips as weapons and use them in that style.

  • Very excellent bullwhipping!

  • Cheers! The emphasis of the workshop was on smooth, efficient whip use rather than specific techniques or tricks. I'll wear ear plugs next time - it was loud in there. Alex.

  • Very cool
