Yeah man, i tell you what works for 12's when you only got 1 amp, a lot of people say it isn't suppose to be done but i wire my two 12's to each other, both the right way of course, and then leave one Short wire going to the amp, and like on the real homey the shorter the wire, and the better the box, the louder the sound and the harder the thump.
