@NonSensaZz Mazovia /Mazowsze/ was initially part of Poland. Following 1138 testament of Krzywousty the central power began to disintegrate. Mazowsze did not became an integral part of Poland until 1529, but it allied with Poland frequently in the meantime. I gues, it makes a difference, likely the supreme ruler of Poland would've dealt with Prussians and with the Order in a different manner.

all in 1226, which is 184 years prior to Battle of Grunwald 1410.

That intro couldn't be any more wrong in the beginning. It is historical fact that the Polish Crown asked the Teutons to come to East Prussia and those areas, not to Christianize and attack "pagan Lithuania", but to help control the pagan tribes of Pomerania and Prussia. After that had been dealt with, they went rogue with demanding their own land, military access, ect..

I just lost a bit of respect for Sega and the total war series...
