I played doom 3 WAY BACK on the original xbox and it was scarey...I just got the PC version a few months back, added the gtx 1.5 mod (graphics) and this game is still creepy and pretty good looking! It still spooks me to play it but I can't stop playing it, its too fun.

I've played through the entire game at least two times and I can't recall what level that is, or what part of a level, that bit where he is walking down that corridor and when he reaches the end of it he hears and sound and turns around to see that...what is that thing hovering in the air that appears at 1:46 on the video? Can someone please tell me exactly what that thing is and what part of what level that bit is on of the game? Because I don't remember it ever happening.

its in the communications place where u have to send out the distress beacon to warn the fleet. just before that when campell and swann blow up the communctions room with the BFG after u leave the blown up room there is a stairwell and u will see the imp under the stairs staring at u

silent hill is a puzzling thriller game, not a fps. FPS is more intense than third person. True it is scary, i played origins and it was freaky shit. It was my first to play a SH game, but still FPS grabs the players attention as if they were on the character's shoes.
