Engines of all cars sold are de-tuned form factory to meet different specifications.

I've seen Trucks with 2000Bhp get off the line quick but not that much quicker than cars with only 25% of the power! A car such as an M5 or M6 with 500Bhp would more than likely piss all over a truck with 2000Bhp in a 1 mile drag race.
the BMW is lighter, the aerodynamics are fuckin way better than a dodge challenger and he has an 80HP gain on him. I would say that is pretty damn good on the challengers part.
