I don't think any of the American Auto Workers will be taking the trip anytime soon. All those who can afford the trip are calling for their pay cuts. Most of the skyscrapers and other large mammoth buildings was built by union labor. I agree slaves made Southern Plantation owners rich, but that was an exception not the rule. The Maktoum family have made THE World Cup the Global Breeders Cup event - millions in purse money and a facility dedicated to the comfort and ease of not only the spectators, but the horses, riders, trainers and grooms. I had the privilege of visiting Sheikh Hamdan's Shadwell UK in Sept 07. It was an unforgettable experience.
