1. it could be turbo/nitrous. a lot of people, especially with smaller displacement engines us nitrous cus it boost low end torque up therefor spooling the turbo up much faster

You mean Nitrous? NOS is a brand that sells Nitrous kits. And it depends, different people use Nitrous for different reasons. Some use small shots to help spool large Turbos, others use larger shots for power only. Some have it set up to be sprayed manually, others have it come on automatically at certain times.
