WAR isnt based on gear as much, cause theres stuff like tactics and guild banners, and more which i do not know. but of course gear will help alot. But the difference from wow pvp to war pvp, is that WAR is gonna have ALOT of people fighting at the same time.

why oh WHY do ppl keep trying to convince other that whatever new MMO that gets released isnt gear dependant. WAR is just as gear dependant as any other MMO. for instance, you go and try to be useful in rvr, or even pve with the grey crap armor thats getting sold by the merchants. and then don a full gear of PQ armor/renown armor and do the exact same thing. and u'l find that the rvr gear is by FAR better then anything else.

WAR is a fantastic game, if you don't like it thats fine, but why make rediculous statements like that. GHX are decent, it runs 100% smooth on my system and it is miles better than any free to play. If you currently love WoW and fancy a change I would strongly suggest you give WAR a chance.
