@SajuukHackwrench, I agree there is no comparison between ships from different shows. They werre never meangt to be transplanted into another universe. The only way that can happen could be if as TV Series was agreed upon by all the companies that own the main shows to have some fun and allow some crossing between universes and shows.

The Yamato-class Starfleet battleship was also featured in the "Starfleet Command" games and I loved taking her into battle. She took forever to make a 90-degree turn, and SFC had no equivalent for her deadly Assault Phaser weapon (aww), but her tough shields and other weapons more than made up for it. She could easily destroy waves of frigate to cruiser size ships with just a volley or two... I would have loved to see her on the big screen!

The small one is the Constitution aka Kirks Enterprise. The first one is teh Missouri and the second one the Yamato. But the names are readable on the statusdisplay on the lower left corner of the vid. as well.

I liked that it had two assault phasers. I would always play the Yamato against the other battleships (and the smaller classes when I was feeling particularly sadistic) in Quick Play. As long as the assault phasers didn't burn themselves out from firing you always had the advantage.

THe Galaxy Class Yamato was destroyed was it not? Which makes it more reasonable that they made a Yamato class vessel. I think so anyways, havent watched Star Trek much since 2nd season of Enterprise... And the recent movie of course.

The Yamato class vessle was built roughly ~60 years Before the Galaxy Yamato left spacedock actually. Not after the Galaxy Class.

The Yamato Class actually was an Experimental Battleship. So far i know there existed only 1 of it.

It never went into serial production actually.

If you play Starfleet command the neautral zone, you'll find the battleship for the federation is strikingly similar. but there is no name for the class. so i am on nether side. im saying that it might, or might not be a Yamato class, but the ships name could as well be the USS Yamato.

you have to do it in windows, just right click the destop and go into your display settings fathinking. hope it helps ya it worked for me on xp and vista

if the screen is flashing and lagging when you fire weapons you can fix it by turning your monitors refresh rate to 50 hz or 60 its one of the two I have forgotten off the top of my head. Hope that might help you though, it worked for me.

Hehe, i knows that. Hunt him into the direction of an planet and then order your wingfriends to hunt him. Then go to warp to that planet by yourself, but not teh whole way. End teh warp by using cloack or so after you has passed the romulan and are in front of him. Then you must be fast. You should reach him this way fire adn damage his engines before he can gain distanc again (but don't destroy him) Then capture him, it was worked by me this way. Greetings: Saj.

I still have this game, it's bloody brill. I havent played it on gamespy for over a year now(since xp) and most of the big battle groups are all but gone. The game doesn't play well on xp and keeps crashing. Seem to remember it played on windows 98 really well.
