I met Art Carney once in Malibu, @ 1968, and his friend Carman Dragon and I spent a half hour discussing patterns of peoples' lives. Carney was totally silent the whole while, like he was shy, but he listened intensely. Art did say "Yeah" once, when Dragon said every life divides into a beginning, middle, and end.
@1f5sda behind the redwood xmas tree in my video, about 50 miles behind it, is palm springs where Gleason had a winter home, and he played golf alot with his chum president Ford there. made me feel good to know probably We the People were getting well represented by someone of "The Great One's" integrity and stature.
@honeybee7700 Cheer up, please. Sadness is an enemy, at least to me. I dislike it so much, I can empathize with an enemy, enduring it. I may not appear the typical empathic person, being a compet. violent sports athlete, having been in trouble, making messes of things, at times, but have learned, & gotten by, somehow. I feel it is my duty, when knowing someone is in need of friendship, & hurting, to help.
@honeybee7700 You don't have to be alone, no matter who you are, what you look like, or anything else. We are all souls, 1st, I believe, & brothers & sisters, upon the spiritual plane. I'll listen, if you like, even if it takes a bit of time to connect, & need no private info. anything back, & altruism is its won reward, esp. when playing catch-up. Take care, & remember, there are kindred souls, who have also felt great losses. I don't have 2 know some1, to care.
