ohh yeah?, and tell me how the heck did you landed it first? haha, that´s my rule #1 before choosing an airport for a challenge, anyway it looks cool :p
@MxG97150 comme tu le dis, la simulation n'a rien a avoir avec la realite, c'est absurde mettre des video de la sorte avec lesquels on peut rien en tirer comme idees. Du courage pour ce courageux heros pilote! Sans rancune ok?
@juneedzafar u probably pitch up too much, pitch up to at least 10 degrees, and make sure the throttle is on maximum, once ur at about 4000 feet retract the flaps ( extend the flaps before taking off, but of course not to the maximum ) hope this helps (:
In FSim 2004, I would recommend not use the default 747.
For beginners:
Assuming default 747, 1st thing is to adjust fuel to about 60,000 lbs. Have about 10,000 feet of RW. Set good weather, zero payload such as cargo & passengers. Set trim to ~4.5 degrees. Set flaps to 20. Power up engines about 70% N1. Release brakes, apply full power. And airplane will take off on its own. As you become proficient-get PMDG 747. Read manuals. Payload & weather effect aircraft configs.
that is the lukla's airport, in nepal, but there is an aerosoft's airport called lukla and its so much bettet than fs2004 lukla's airport...sorry for my english, a don't speak very well because i speak spanish....see you later, good luck!
Another fun one to take off and land from is Lukla Airport in Nepal.
It's very similar to this but is at 9,500ft alt. and with a shorter runway than Cour. with a sheer 3000 ft. dropoff. It's surrounded by 13,000 ft peaks too. Very challenging.
If he where to be decending it would represt a negative number and while climbing a postive. Anyway good one dude looks fun. Can you put her down on that?
I kinda get a kick out of the dorks that can't seem to fight their urge to critique the take-off. IT'S A FUCKING GAME. Who cares when he retracted the damn landing gear, or how much flaps he used? Get lives, people.
oh so just in the case he falls in the ditch he had his gears out right? stop commenting stupid shit........... just say, he's not supposed to take off at that runway with that airplane then
Actually SABA airport is more shorter than Courshevel, and lukla is too more short. But in real life big planes cant takeoff airports like courshevel, like all know.
lol in real life if you were in the flight deck all you will hear is " pull up pull up pull up sink rate sink rate....... landing gear landing gear. nice video. but i dont think that will happen in real life :D
omg is that fs2004?!?!?!?!?!? if it is the fsx is a rip off cuz it has a straight airport but its actually supposed to be crooked on courchevel just like on fs2004.
woah woah woah!! is it even possible for a jetliner to land there, the runways on an angle and if you miss the threshold then you would have to do a go around
whats the point in arguing about how steep the runway is you neeks. Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olmpics, even if you win, your still retarded.
haha, u mean Courchlevel, you dont even know how to spell the airstrip and ur calling me a fool, fyi, Lukla has the steepest runway slope. well, i have a life unlike you, so im done here.
Courchevel has a rwy as steep as the one in the video ! you fool!
I've seen photos of the real courchevel, unlike you, you HOBO! And courchevel's rwy slopes downwards, lukla's rwy slopes down and than levels again! Think b4 you utter rubbish!
you are soo daft, can you read? i said that lukla has the steepest runway and nothing about how the "runway slopes down then level again", READ before u make a fool of yourself!
You actually don't need flaps for take off. Heavy planes use them to generate more lift so they can take off at a lower speed and in a shorter distance. A 747 at 887,000 pounds would use a flap setting of 10-20 degrees of flaps and would roll somewhere between 160-180 knots.
My question is why did you sop recording at 22-23 sec when u were going off the runway? Also No flaps? Very curious on how that was done. Strong headwind & lightened load maybe?
Probably because the unregistered version of fraps only lets you record approximately 30 seconds of footage, maybe that was all he had left in his time limit.
this runway lies in nepal and it`s called lukla.. it lies in the middel of the sittie and ia one of the shortest runway in the world... i must say... bad scenery
it's all cool bad ass pilots dream of such events even thought it may only happen to sharpem their skill in simulation or daydreams, that left drop only to increase air speed what a Fucking cool ass pilot i love you whomm ever!!!
