  • Now let's see the landing

  • Comment removed

  • ohh yeah?, and tell me how the heck did you landed it first? haha, that´s my rule #1 before choosing an airport for a challenge, anyway it looks cool :p

  • simulation, not real

  • @MxG97150 comme tu le dis, la simulation n'a rien a avoir avec la realite, c'est absurde mettre des video de la sorte avec lesquels on peut rien en tirer comme idees. Du courage pour ce courageux heros pilote! Sans rancune ok?

  • its very smart to use flaps...

  • @juneedzafar u probably pitch up too much, pitch up to at least 10 degrees, and make sure the throttle is on maximum, once ur at about 4000 feet retract the flaps ( extend the flaps before taking off, but of course not to the maximum ) hope this helps (:

  • which airport? share the location, I also want to fly there...

  • @ankitpurohit2001 dost description padh..sab samjhega

  • i alway stall when i takeoff with 747

  • @juneedzafar

In FSim 2004, I would recommend not use the default 747.

    For beginners:

Assuming default 747, 1st thing is to adjust fuel to about 60,000 lbs. Have about 10,000 feet of RW. Set good weather, zero payload such as cargo & passengers. Set trim to ~4.5 degrees. Set flaps to 20. Power up engines about 70% N1. Release brakes, apply full power. And airplane will take off on its own. As you become proficient-get PMDG 747. Read manuals. Payload & weather effect aircraft configs.

  • @juneedzafar there is something called as flaps settings.i recommend you to first go through the flying simulator tutorial then make such comments..

  • AArgh! Please let us know real-life vs. artificial-life!

  • shoulda done it with full flaps

  • Good one, except it ain't Courchevelle. It's Lukla, in Nepal.

  • Where did you get this scenery? I haven't been able to find one that good yet.

  • Any word about obstacle clearence? Why? We all love to brethe a pine smoke from our 747 engines in the morning, LOL.

  • I'm thinking you clipped some trees.

  • now lets try landing, shall we? xD

  • does that airport really exist in the real world ?

  • @oooOODJCUBEOOOooo Yes ... i have been there ... landing is awesome

    photo: h**p://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs015.ash2/34099_1297590891146_1571592676_30638695_7994702_n.jpg

  • poor box of rocs and the poorer people inside.

  • Hmm I've always wanted to experience free-falling on a jet like that, on that specific airport.

  • i prefer FSX not FS2004...

  • i prefer FSX not FS2004...

  • @XcRi08 just SHUT UP

  • Nice Runway

  • now land there

  • how do u get sloped runway in fs2004

  • that is the lukla's airport, in nepal, but there is an aerosoft's airport called lukla and its so much bettet than fs2004 lukla's airport...sorry for my english, a don't speak very well because i speak spanish....see you later, good luck!

  • In reality...no way in hell

  • lmao what idiots...that huge thing would have dropped like a box of rocks and crashed into trees.

  • what secenery is that? thx ;)

  • try to land in and by the time you take off you will hit the trees and every1 will be deid so dont be a PILOT

  • hi, can you go back and land this plane?? :-)

  • Another fun one to take off and land from is Lukla Airport in Nepal.

It's very similar to this but is at 9,500ft alt. and with a shorter runway than Cour. with a sheer 3000 ft. dropoff. It's surrounded by 13,000 ft peaks too. Very challenging.

  • try a c5 galaxy or an225 myra lol

  • What a bunch of dorks!!

  • lol funny shit man.

Not possible IRL. that thing would fall faster than a sack of shit

  • now try landing...

  • I've done this before too...lol....

Somehow I think this would be a different outcome in real life......

  • Hahaha

  • SABA (TNCM) has a shorter runway

  • saba and tncm are two different airports. tncm is bigger then both of these. sabas the smallese

  • Oops, I was wrong :-P I ment Saba (TNCS)

  • You didn't put your flaps down!!!

  • If he where to be decending it would represt a negative number and while climbing a postive. Anyway good one dude looks fun. Can you put her down on that?

  • wtf?? lol

  • Good vid. Bit I think peeps seem to think they can control peeps thoughts. Let them have fun.

  • I kinda get a kick out of the dorks that can't seem to fight their urge to critique the take-off. IT'S A FUCKING GAME. Who cares when he retracted the damn landing gear, or how much flaps he used? Get lives, people.

  • Personally, i sort of agree, but i also don't mind helping people fly.

  • You're only supposed to take the gear up once you have a positive CLIMB! Not Positive Decent !

    Good takeoff anyway

  • oh so just in the case he falls in the ditch he had his gears out right? stop commenting stupid shit........... just say, he's not supposed to take off at that runway with that airplane then

  • Cool, now fly a traffic pattern and land that 747 at the same airport.

  • Actually SABA airport is more shorter than Courshevel, and lukla is too more short. But in real life big planes cant takeoff airports like courshevel, like all know.

  • no flaps?

  • if the runway was actually like that in real life then i would think this video was good.

  • Yeah, of course its like that... :P

  • courchevel* not hating just saying

  • now the question remains:

how did you get a 747 at couchevel lol

  • thats a realy short runway, and 0 degrees of flaps

    cool men

  • that was nice!! But d1chet is right; it would have been smoother with flaps

  • the takeoff mightve gone a bit smoother if you had used flaps at the least, preferably simulating a short field take off

  • is that lukla??????

    or courchlevel???

  • courchlevel.

  • wow man how much crossvind did you use?

    why is the runnway bending.

  • Hehe nice takoff, whats the senery or the author of it?

  • How would the aircraft get there to start with lol !!!

  • Default 747... Try this with the PMDG and see what happens.

  • yeah,, even the PMDG md-11

  • lol in real life if you were in the flight deck all you will hear is " pull up pull up pull up sink rate sink rate....... landing gear landing gear. nice video. but i dont think that will happen in real life :D

  • wats that game

  • FS9, Flight Simulator 9, version 2004

  • i would not want to take off from that airport

  • fun....but how did that 747 land in Courchevel ?!

  • no its not, its an unrealistic courchevel

  • realii dangerous

  • I'm reminded of the opening sequence to 'Goldeneye'... :-p

  • lol looks like the one in peral harbour = =

  • technically possible

  • positive descent rate , gear up xD

  • he he

  • that's scary!!!!!!!!!!1

  • anyone have a link to the scenery

  • courchevel isnt crooked. its a straight airport

  • omg is that fs2004?!?!?!?!?!? if it is the fsx is a rip off cuz it has a straight airport but its actually supposed to be crooked on courchevel just like on fs2004.

    shame on you microsoft....

  • my grandad flew in the chicken run 1954 southern israil

  • well to takeoff from there you want flaps at 20 to 40.

  • ASSHOLE,,,,,where are you flaps!!! Gee, are you the dude who goes into a ONE WAY or DON NOT ENTER WRONG WAY!!!!!

  • where can I find that crazy and funny addon scenery?

  • wtf this is LUKLA not Courchevel

  • No it's not. Lukla only has one hill at the beginning and is not near as sloped. Plus the lukla scenery is way different.

  • its courchevel. i have that

  • woah woah woah!! is it even possible for a jetliner to land there, the runways on an angle and if you miss the threshold then you would have to do a go around

  • lol is that an actual airport?

  • what FTG airline are you in?

  • Thats a nice scenery add on. Where did you get it from?

  • fs2004 is better than fsx its more realistic

    green smoke?

  • no its not nub

  • If I am the Pilot I am so scared

  • if u hav lowered ur flaps, it should be not as dangerous........

  • shitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • its a cargo plane on fs2004 not jetliner

  • hey wat fs is this, and how u get the sloping runeway, wat website did u download it from

  • maybe you could'nt landing this RWY

please next time you try! taking off this RWY

    right weight B744F

  • Now try to land ;)

  • whats the point in arguing about how steep the runway is you neeks. Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olmpics, even if you win, your still retarded.

  • why do ppl get piss with eachother huh?

just watch and enjoy the video .

    is this in fsx?

  • OMG! NICE! What's the airport code?

  • LFLJ

  • LOL, big drop. I want to try!

  • what scenery was that?

  • Somehow I don't think this runway was designed with the 747 in mind :)

  • courchevel

  • btw .. wat airport is that ??

  • its in france and its called Courchevell

but the scenery in the video is not the default scenery

  • its Lukla, not Courchevel

  • its Lukla, not Courchevel, Lukla has one of the only slopped runways in the the world

  • Courchevel has a sloped runway too idiot

  • Not steep like that of the vid, the steepest is Lukla, Fool!

  • ur the FOOL, dont no what courchevek looks like...

  • haha, u mean Courchlevel, you dont even know how to spell the airstrip and ur calling me a fool, fyi, Lukla has the steepest runway slope. well, i have a life unlike you, so im done here.

    Cheers

  • are you a mental son of a b#%$ ?

Courchevel has a rwy as steep as the one in the video ! you fool!

I've seen photos of the real courchevel, unlike you, you HOBO! And courchevel's rwy slopes downwards, lukla's rwy slopes down and than levels again! Think b4 you utter rubbish!

  • you are soo daft, can you read? i said that lukla has the steepest runway and nothing about how the "runway slopes down then level again", READ before u make a fool of yourself!

  • To clear this shit up before you all kill each other;

    Courchevel runway gradient: 18.5%

    Lukla runway gradient: 10%

  • ummm no chouchlevel has a steeper slope than lukla! but chourchlevel i believe is a little longer and in my opinion easier to fly than lulkla

  • Courchevel.

  • why do u need flaps ?? for take off .... soz still learning :P

  • You actually don't need flaps for take off. Heavy planes use them to generate more lift so they can take off at a lower speed and in a shorter distance. A 747 at 887,000 pounds would use a flap setting of 10-20 degrees of flaps and would roll somewhere between 160-180 knots.

  • co0l thx for explaining :) now i know :p cheers

  • ahhhh! big words

  • no. for the footage

  • is that a airport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • well I'll be damned...he did it. good job...flaps?

  • My question is why did you sop recording at 22-23 sec when u were going off the runway? Also No flaps? Very curious on how that was done. Strong headwind & lightened load maybe?

  • Edit: "Stop Recording at 22-23 sec".

  • Probably because the unregistered version of fraps only lets you record approximately 30 seconds of footage, maybe that was all he had left in his time limit.

  • I stalled when i tried that

  • que verguenza pinche mugrozo

  • amatuer, didn't even have flaps

  • Why didn't you have flaps?

  • boeieend

  • tut tut tut luk

  • ur an asshole

  • and ur jealous

  • what airport?? in fs2004

  • The shorters airfield in FSX is OWN5, Potts Field in Wisconsin. Check it out.

  • That's incorrect. The shortest airfield is actually called "Newcastle Westpac Base". The runway is only 150 long!!!

  • WTF

  • No flaps... ??

  • which scenery did you used, this isn't the default

  • why was the runway bent down?

  • its so short, the slope downwards helps planes slow down when landing up the slope and takeoffs will be sped up if going downwards.

  • look do i get the cabin wview?

  • no actually u could problably take off and land in a c-17 or a c-130 did u ever think about that...??? lol

  • hey... my xp want install fsx because it need xp sp2... well i downloaded the xp sp2 but then nothing happens? any reason y?

    reply if u know y

    cheers

    nice video

  • so cool but yes the Dash 8 will be the biggest one lol!

But go with a Jodel its one of the best airport! but if you have a king air why not lol! I've not enough money

  • Does anyone know where I can the scenery for LFLJ, cause the defualt runway isn't sloped at all.

  • The Biggest plane would be a dash 8

  • nice idea but it's only a game :)

  • what is the ICAO Code of this airport?

  • LFLJ

  • this runway lies in nepal and it`s called lukla.. it lies in the middel of the sittie and ia one of the shortest runway in the world... i must say... bad scenery

  • No it's Courchevel in the French Alps ;)

  • what airport is it?

  • LFLJ

  • can u get that on a normal flight simulator 2004

  • that is a real airport the rwy just like that

  • I don't think you did that, what was that black part of the video, don't even say blackout, because that does not happen in spot view.

  • He was usig FRAPS Unregistered which means your imited to 30 seconds and that was he join between two videos.

  • how is it possible that he went 40 seconds

  • My God! You must be insane!!!

  • it's all cool bad ass pilots dream of such events even thought it may only happen to sharpem their skill in simulation or daydreams, that left drop only to increase air speed what a Fucking cool ass pilot i love you whomm ever!!!

  • what about landing? =D

  • I can see from the looks of it that it's a simulator. Probably microsoft flight simulator x. I should try that =). krewlfool-♣

  • call me stupid... but... that's just a challenge right... like... they don't actually do that shit? like im sure they dont with a 747 or anything. but that's a strictly cessna runway, right? ... i hope?

  • well your not going to see a 747 going on that runway, but the biggest plane that can LEGALLY take-off and land is a Dash 7. Not very big, its easy to take-off but impossible to land and jetliners.

  • try to do a short field T/O put the flaps tu 30 apply break, full power and releaze the brake

  • Iv seen that airport and as a pilot i would be scared shitless to try that in a c-172.

  • i thought that was Lukla, you can see lukla in the Video Response I have posted. It is roughly the same size as that if not smaller and lies half way up the side of Mt. Everest.
