This is the president of the United States sending a message to the youth of America, no, the WORLD, that they are not alone, that their individuality will be accepted somewhere and that suicide is not the answer. Why does this video have less than 10 000 views? I don't understand this at all.
Dear Obama, i'm 20 now, when i was 16 i randomly met this guy that i fall in love with, he was never openly gay until he kissed me in front of his family on his sister wedding, he used to say to his parents that i'm just his friend,but now they accepted me as a family,Obama I LOVE HIM, i swear i don't kill, i don't rape,i don't steal, i don't do anything to other people cause in this world there is only he and i,4 beautiful years we are together, is it so wrong if i ask for my wedding?

While everyone is sitting here talking about how amazing he is for doing this is very naive. yes its a nice gesture but you see this is the same man who wont approve gay marriage to create equality all he has to do is sign a paper and make it legal everywhere. Yes this is nice but being able to marry my partner would be something i would get excited about not him talking against gay bullying. he need to create equality for all!

im glad you have said what you have said, at once a US president has took the stand you have, and im also happy you used the term "LGBT".now i think its time to get this ignorance from the USA & UK that being gay is normal, and not a choice. so i believe the first step is being taught that its normal and nothing wrong, and then leading into teenagers providing services for housing and financial support for LGBT.
Remember the U.S history class you took in high school? Well there is the Senate which has 100 members and the house of representative's that have 435 plus 6 non-voting members. All of these people make up the congress that must vote on a proposed law and 2/3 of them must vote for the proposed law. Congress has a large amount of educated men and women you must convince. Why do you think gay marriage is becoming legal state by state? DUH! Know how the government works before you criticize it.
Why are you against gay bullying when men and women can not serve openly in the military? is that also a Hypocrite? he said go tell someone and they would be there, well like I said what about the military you say something in there and you will get a dishonorable discharge if your a lucky one cause we all know Barry Winchell wasn't one of the lucky ones to get discharged.

@ShinySwan1989 When a child of color is bullied for being of color, he/she goes home to a family of color for comfort. When a Asian, Latino, Jewish, or Muslim child is bullied, he/she goes home to a Asian, Latino, Jewish, or Muslim family for comfort. BUT when a gay child is bullied, he/she has no one in the family who can comfort him/her. A gay child is most often the ONLY gay person in their family. Mom & Dad, brother & sister, aunt & uncle are all straight, leaving the gay child all alone.
That's why I like Obama he dosent say what he thinks people want to hear he says says what's on his mind
