I LOVE how Steven puts himself in his OWN cartoon along with other of his kind. After seeing this all these years, Tiny Toons are gold and will always be a golden cartoon! :)
Modern fanfic authors, eat your heart out. Tiny Toons and Dexter's Lab are the only shows I know of that accepted a fan's script. I say "script" because it wasn't even called "fan fiction" outside of adult sci-fi circles back then. Most people likely thought of it as a "play" (theatrical) or "skit" that used a show's characters; the concept wasn't even in the minds of most people.
Apparently, that's ACTUALLY Speilberg voicing himself in this episode! Most of the time it's someone doing an impression, but this time it's the genuine article. :)
I know the rest of the story is made by three fans but the begining part (first act),some of the story and the last act (last part) is it added and altered by some of the studio writers?
Question: does anyone know if those three thirteen year olds actually wrote the script themselves or if they just thought up the whole premise, wrote a synopsis and sent it to the writers?
My favourite episode ! Thank you so much ! Haven't see this since maybe 2000 , ofc at that time the dub was horrible and only 1 man and 1 woman voiced all of the characters. I really love this show but when i turned 6 they stopped the TV series ;(
Was that Steven Spielberg's real voice or just a really good imitator? I LOVE this episode! XD I love when the characters break the fourth wall! You just don't see this in cartoons anymore! It's a shame really.
anyone find Babs and Buster a bit rude, and selfish.Hampton deserved his 6 minutes of fame. I love both bunnies, but THE'RE MEAN in this when it comes to Hampton...
Remember, Steven Spielberg produced Tiny Toon Adventures. This is from the same time as he directed the movie "Hook" with Robin Williams/Dustin Hoffman. He threw in a lot of Hollywood culture jokes, although they were more appreciated in the early 90's (1990-1993) and also meant for kids/teens of both 80's and 90's culture. They don't make great cartoons like Tiny Toons anymore. This was a great show and I remember watching it every afternoon after school.
@AmericanEvita . Loved seeing those great movie posters - E.T., Gremlins, Indiana Jones, I grew up on all those great movies. I miss the 80's and the 90's so much.
yes he is, oddly enough even though he's protrayed as competant here such as he's able to capture Babs, Buster, and Plucky, yet he's unable to catch those Warners in Animaniacs... maybe he got dumber in the spin-off.
I love Japanese animation styled after Western animation.

It's a coincidence, that Charlie Adler played chicken from "Cow and Chicken", and his character was also afraid of flying as well.

@souluvable: Yes, for TTA and A! are "family" shows, created by Steven Speilberg and Tom Ruegger.
WB made the film Hook & helped make Roger Rabbit WITH Disney in the 80's.

Why were Peter Pan and Captain Hook were spoofed?.
joshualiu1993 2 years ago 5
This episode was written by 8th grade girls...I guess they just wanted it.
Kauaimon 2 years ago
For some reason they were making fun of the movie Hoof with Robin Williams (Peter Pan) and Dustin Hoffman (Captain Hook).
Funny that they made Hook sound like Rainman who Dustin also played.
I guess WB did make the film Hook.
