  • did Doc Baker exist in real life ? I don't think he did, but I just wanted to know; thank you

  • Take the house Laura, it is free. Hope she got the paperwork endorsed for the property transfer! Laura is gorgeous!

  • Who's the old lady?

  • I never thought I'd see Willie as anything more than a goofy kid, and now look at him here, lol.

  • I love how she says i love you:)

  • Ooooh. Willie and Rachel sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G! Bless his adorableness

  • imagine having mrs oleson as a mother-in-law. brrrrr

  • @AtmaGyan oh dear god...that would be a punishment worse than death...

  • Weren't they supposed to be practising his graduation speech?!

  • anywhere where Rev. Alden and Doc. Baker are present together is probably a dismal place.. unless it's sunday services.

  • Mrs. Flannery, another victim of Little House Plot Device disease.

  • the sunset is pretty but here in tucson arizona that is nothing. And i think that was fillmed here anywy lol!

  • when they go out (doctor and reverend) that was the hardest senes for the 2 of them... if you watch the lhotp bloopers you will see them messing up there. so type in lhotp bloopers and youll find it. watch the whole thing!

  • I had a friend like her who passed away about 2 months ago.

  • @TheGoldengirlfan the older woman that is.

  • Katherine MacGregor Is Hilarious.

  • this is like one of my favorite episodes!!!

Willie and Rachel are so cute together!

  • The scene at 3:00, the look on Rachel's face made me flashback to the sound of music... :P When Liesl finds out Rolfe is in love with her and she goes "WWEEEEEEE!" in a high pitched voice. hahaha. :P

  • Wow, leaving Laura a home. I wish that would happen to me, then me and my daughter could have a real home and stop renting apartments.

  • wat season is this

  • it's Season 9

  • in this episode jonathan gilbert was hot-stuff!!!

    momma likey!!!

  • willie has become shuch a man

  • I found out that his birthday is actually april 1967.

  • I thought his birthday is in July?

  • I wonder if this was Jonathan Gilbert's' first kiss. lol

  • I find it hard to believe that in real life Jonathan Gilbert & Allison Balson are only ONE year apart! Jonathan looks about maybe 2 or 3 years older!

  • yee well hope rachel is one HUNGRY WOMAN loool i mean we seen 10 years willie just eat haha=)

  • Whose Judy?

Was she married to Jonathan Gilbert, did you say?

    And Martha Rae?

  • He's such a gentleman, why can't guys be like that now??

And wasn't John Gilbert only 15 when this was filmed, how old is he supposed to be in the episode?

  • My parents had that same wallpaper as what was in the old woman's room. LOL

  • so tats how they got a big house!A

  • Do they show the proposal? If so, which part?

  • It is nice that Willie and Nellie turned out so well... We laughed at their silliness but I think we all wanted them to be okay

  • willie just knocking 2 times with his fingers..an she says-gonna break the window..little funny hihi, maybe ment to tho*cute

  • Mrs. Oleson's facial expressions are so funny!

  • rachel brown is so pretty, I love her in this episode.

  • they look too young to get married

  • I'm surprised there isn't a scene where Laura and Almonzo discuss taking that huge house?

  • Also, I looove Willie and Nels. eh, Mr. Oleson! Just love 'em!! They have such a good band with each other and well, that's so sweet.

  • Doc. Baker: "I thought she was gone!"

That sounded so.. I don't know. It kinda made me grin, though I know it isn't funny. But the way he said that, was so sweet and innocent.

  • Rev. Alden, not Doc. Baker

  • I always wondered how Laura got such a large house later in the series. Now I know.

  • Did David Rose continue doing the music for this show until the end? Perhaps he was too old. Was he the same David Rose who wrote the STRIPPER song and also Judy Garland's first husband?

  • what did u mean??

  • yeah that was Judy's 1st husband, plus he was also married to Martha Raye at 1 time

  • its funny cus albert was in walnut grove he had all the girls but willie was the first to get married

  • Yes, its ironic isn't it! : )

  • @luvyamlaborteaux1 Willie would have been considered one of the most eligible boys in Walnut Grove. Harriet is annoying, but the store and restaurant would have meant a secure future that any family would want for a daughter.

  • It's sad and yet funny how Mrs Olsen still treats Willie like a baby!

  • They just dont make shows like that anymore , I love the music allso it's very movie like and all the characters have their own tunes.

  • They are already engaged. It sounds like a secret. "You're not afraid are you?" "No, a little..." They kept it a secret.

  • where does willie propose?

  • I can't remember, but its in this epi.

  • Okay, I've watched it over and over and I don't see where he proposes to her.

  • Where does he propose to her?

  • Keep watching to find out pixEstix4... This is a really good epi. In fact, its my favorite! :)

  • Willie is hot!!!

  • So true! :)

  • I saw a blooper reel once, a very long time ago, that showed Rev. Alden, instead of saying "I thought she was gone", he said to Doc. Baker, "I thought you killed another one." LMAO!!! Do they have those bloopers on the dvd's?

  • No, I'm afraid they do not have blooper or deleted scenes from LHOP on DVD. However, they do have rare interviews with some of the cast members such as, Dean Butler, Melissa Gilbert, Melissa Sue Anderson, etc. :)

  • Where can you find those interviews?

  • OH MY GOD

    Thank you so much

  • You're welcome AznRawkstarx3! This is one of my favorite episodes featuring Willie! :)

  • willie acts soo silly!

  • I can't help but chuckle knowing that one of the Animaniacs writers (and the voice of Slappy Squirrel) was on Little House.

  • lol drumfreak87! You really know your Little House trivia! :)

  • he has a nice face

  • Yeah, I think Willie and Rachel look really good together too. :)

  • shes real pretty. they make a cute couple. i wish i had a boyfriend like that but i have to wait a few years

  • i love this episode too. I can't believe that Laura is Willies Sister! it's soo hard to believe.

  • Me too carmelation12! Please enjoy! :)

  • Me too carmelation12! I heart this epi! Please enjoy!:)

  • I can't believe that the willie i am watching now is the same willie that was very naughty in his younger days...is Laura still teaching?

  • No, after Rose was born she gave up teaching, at the Walnut Grove School, to raise her daughter and Jenny( Almanzo's niece by his brother Royal).

  • You are right about Willie being very naughty in his younger years - he was always the class clown and ended up in the corner every time. But he grew up to be a very fine young man. Yet in his younger years, he didn't like Laura very much, but when she gave up teaching, he was crying. Amazing, isn't it? Ms. Plum is now the teacher.

  • Yes, tennile1998! It is simply astonishing what a charismatic young man Willie became. Who knew?

  • Yes it is!

  • LOL, does Doc Baker eve know how to take a pulse?

  • lol yeah they r

  • Awhhh :]

    i looove this epiisode.

    They're cute together<3

  • I know! Too cute! :)
