it wasn't the change of story that upset me. I was expecting several changes, such is the nature of an adaptation. But, what I was hoping for was the characters to remain faithful. Goku is NOT the stereorypical american teen hero. Also, even if you're not a fan of Dragon Ball, as a movie it fails. The plot is too rushed, the acting is forced, the effects are cheap and cleches out the wazoo

Lol, nice. But er... people jump in Dragonball all the time, in fact.. Goku cant fly for most of it so he has no choice to jump. But even in Dragonball Z there is plenty of jumping, they dont always go straight into the air, sometimes they just jump to avoid an attack or something.. that was a really petty thing to pick at, not even close to be accurate.
