Yeah Corvettes can run with the best nowadays. The engine just keep getting amped up more and more. On the track, it can beat mercedes black series, the older f430 that's due for a replacement next year and most of the other euros. Still I find the Ford GT as the best car America has built that can seriously kill exotic competitors. There's talk about a new stingray corvette coming soon. If you saw transformers 2, it's the robot that sliced the audi R8 in half.

The Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger are by definition "PONY" Cars...The GTO was by definition in the 60's and 70's...a Muscle Car. But now It would best be defined as a Grand Tourer...as HardyHarz stated...these cars fall into specific catagories...and Only three of the current cars I mentioned...are Muscle Cars today...None include a Corvette...It's too refined to call it such.

the Z06 front end needs to go. other than that, this car is perfect. it will easily run in the 11's, so i'm pretty excited for the performance. but, this doesn't leave much room for the Z06. i think we will see Z06 sails drastically decline, and GS hard top sails go through the roof.
