  • all of the hint indicators that u have stated suggests that i own a super salmon! only thing is that mine has more black spots everywhere, but i have no mustache or goatee! and for only $70 what a steal.

  • @tripbalz247 You may have one, some supers has some peppering, they do vary, in this video its just the basics but their are more subtle trait, I have salmon with no peppering that I know are not supers.

  • @ApexSerpents awesome! thanks and great to know. Also i got her sexed a few days ago and its a girl, repticon is also goin to be in down and i have some spending money, any thoughts on what morph i should purchas so i can breed her when shes big enough?

  • Keep up the great work man! I love your videos. Very educational!! Great looking animals as well! ; )

    Rob

  • Very informative! Thanks for clearing things up! Well done.

  • Great Video, especially with confusion of what salmons and super salmons are and what they look like.

  • @dturner05 Thanks I've never seen anyone make a video on this topic and felt it was useful.

  • No its the one titled reptile update with the turtle in the video i bought the boa as a super hypo but i dont know and am still unsure

  • Could you look at my vid of my boas the super hypo and tell me if it is one?

  • @Snakes4Life21 I saw it, The one u just bought correct? My guess from looking at the tail is it has a great chance of being a super hypo. The tail rings or lack thereof has nothing to do with it being from the salmon line or the hypo line. The rings are an indicator of how much hypomelanism the animal got from its parents. If both parents were hypo or salmon, there will be a great reduction in the rings even if the animal is not a super but chances are no rings at all, will prove out a super.

  • dude, i learn more and more from your vids, ive watched all of them, thanks for all the info, i subbed and im looking foreward to seeing your salmons more in the future =D 5*

  • @ballsRwild Thanks man I'm glad to share things with others. I also learn alot about reptiles from watching other people's videos. Sometimes I learn what to do and what not to do from the videos hahaha. I love watching the videos though and other people are too stuck up to watch other people's vids, they are losing out if you ask me!

  • @ApexSerpents i agree completly

  • @integ730 Thanks very much be sure to check back for my next video!

  • now im starting to see the difference between them

  • @JJLoW12 Great I hope this helps you out and it was fun to share the info with you and others!

  • Learn something knew every time i watch your videos.

  • @carsoncollection Thanks bro I'm glad I'm able to show things you may not have known or seen before.

  • good video man! that super with stripe is crazy!

  • @ReptilesManiac Thanks ma dude, glad to see you bro hope the new boa from Mike is doing great!

  • @ApexSerpents

yea man she is looking really nice! tomorrow i get my monster i want to get tool like hook and everything!

  • great info! you definietly know Boas! one day can you compare the albino lines? although oppinion, some local breeders believe sharp makes the best snows but kahl makes the best sunglows?

  • @knglee3rd That actually sounds like a great idea. I'm hesitant though since I don't have any sharp projects it would be hard for me to disuss the gene and compare them. They do have a distinct look in "some cases" when you are dealing with quality animals from both lines. I'd have to ask blumenboas how his adult sharp snows look. What concerns me is the sharps have a strong yellow with white contrast and I'm not sure how that yellow would affect a snow since most snows turn yellow with age

  • Great Info

  • @MrReptileSmile Thanks Gerry, always a pleasure to get input from you!

  • Nice video great looking snakes killer info helps a lot thanks for all the info

  • @89mc01 You are welcome and thanks. I hope to show things on this video that perhaps people didn't know before viewing it or a refresher for those who did.

  • Great information, I have a pair of Aby stripe's from Rich's line..

  • @DSDreptiles Thanks, I mostly have salmon line hypo boas. It just worked out that the breeders who produced "hypos" I liked the most worked with Rich Ihle salmon stock. The info discussed in this video was on The Barkers 2003 Boa video where Rich himself put this info on the DVD. I was not able to find a video on youtube with this info and was asked the question often. I hope this video helps a lot of people who don't have the VPI video where Rich Ihle pointed this out on the salmon boas.
