@SEBYXUS yes, those are the "codes" not realy code, just a list of console commands that run when you start up bf3.

@SEBYXUS Just make a notepad file and call it user.cfg then copy and paste the lines.After that just drag the notepad file into the BF3 main directory.

@xUdachii Anyway after playing some BF3 myself i have been having crashes aswell.For me its like 5-10 minutes into the game and lots of the other people have had this problem aswell.Looks like a dodgy thing DICE implemented in the latest Battlelog update

You are amazing. I get lag with an fx6100 at 3700Ghz 16 mb DDR3 1333mhz RAM & a sad old 4850 sonic GPU. I know the GPU is pants but I expected smoother still. What GPU should I buy next?

@milzeh I would say a GTX 560ti or a 6950 since they both do really well.If they are too much then get a 6870

@milzeh Download the file. Put the PROF_SAVE file in the config you downloaded inside the Settings folder which is inside the Battlefield 3 folder in your documents.Then go into the Battlefield 3 folder which is in origin games and put the User.cfg file in where Bf3.exe is. If you didn't use Origin then put it where ever the Bf3.exe file is

This really worked for me! It probably gave me a 10 - 15 fps boost. However it is much much smoother.

As the video said, all control settings had to be reset.

@Trev0Rear Well it wasn't going to give you like 50 FPS. just a 10-15 FPS increase. Did you record the FPS you were getting before you did this and this i why i say backup the files. If you backed up the files you could replace them back in then record your FPS. You should have some FPS increase. Try just toning down your settings like your Res and Details.

you have a folder named Bonjour ... watch out it slows down your pc because of sending stuff to somewere dont know but there is a tutorial how to delete this files in there ... :P
