all i can say. lucky guy. i have been trying for 2 week and all i have done so far is get android launcher running, i have tried 4 different tutorial nothing is working. everytime the app market doesnt work.

I got the launcher to work but as soon as I activate the Android Market icon, I this error, "process mobi.SyndicateApps.HCL". I am using the Homeycomb Launcher. Any thoughts?

i tryed to root the play book and got to step 12 and found out with the 2.0 beta blocks people from rooting there playbook. so playbooks cant be rooted anymore.

I could not root my PlayBook via DingleBerry, because I installed OS 2..6, so for some reason it tells me failed rooting, cannot work with WINSCP. However, when I installed android launcher, Android Market is not loading up. Once I touch on it, the bar with the name of Android Market comes up, but nothing else. Any idea? HELP IS APPRECIATED!

How is the speed did it increase or decrease? also if there were to be a problem with the software can you reset the playbook back to factory settings? thanks

@madmatt476 The speed is the same as before. No one has experienced problems who have properly installed it and yes you can factory reset the playbook.

@chaitanya239 I can confirm that skype will work but video calls will not work. I recommend this for market games rather than fully working android market.

@ylun96 the error is becuase you do not have the proper JRE Java installed on your computer.

@apotasnik If you have rooted the playbook and have 2.0 installed you are in good shape. Simply go to the description above and download the Launcher.bar, DDPB, and you should already have java installed on your computer. (If not download JRE on your computer). After your done with downloading Launcher.bar and DDPB, open DDPB, connect your playbook, choose the .bar file (Which is the launcher) and install it. Done, you will now disconnect the playbook and you should have android launcher.
