the only thing im unhappy about this game is how the backstory is essentialy ruining the legacy of kotor and kotor 2.

i dont like how they turned revan from this great legacy into someone who simply fell to the dark side and is in service of the sith emperor

also with the jedi virtually wiped out and the republic crumbling why do the true sith need to wait 300 years before attacking?

@shriramvenu watch the timeline episodes that Bioware put out. They were essentially all but wiped out after the Hyperspace Wars, and they rebuilt from the ground up with a cultural vendetta of hate against the Jedi and the Republic. They spent hundreds of years building a fleet and armies to challenge the Republic.

They also did not turn revan into some one sided character, we will find out the end of his story in TOR, it has been revealed as an end-game or near-end story arc.

for those of us who have been following this progress of this game since it was first announced 2 years ago. I have to say looking back at this web doc, You have to admire how far they have come from the graphics seen in this video to what you see now in some of the videos and especially the screen shots. Those of you who doubt that this game will succeed due to graphics, just go to the website and see the new screenshots, especially the new trooper screenshots.

i already quit wow a month ago (sold accounts) to get ready for this game, im not sure if this will beat wow subscriberwise but it seems like is has a strong ass chance. we wont know till we all play it though, gonna be a HUGE release cause its fkin star wars

@kyungdaesung As I said before, look at WoWs sub base. It's not even half of what they claim. Peoplewise, WoW has only half the people they claim as original subscribers. I had four accounts. Most people have 2+ accounts. TOR dev website already has over 650K people signed up. Thta will be that 650k on day one, plus the people just waiting, plus multi accounts per players. This game has a very strong chance of beating out WoW. Hopefully they don't make it suck over time like Blizz did WoW.

The reason I think this will be better than wow for me is the story. The fact that there is an engaging storyline pulling along the leveling of a traditional mmo will make it a very good game.

This will not and never should be for a console game. MMO's and RTS do not port over. This has been proven time and time again.

Nobody should worry about the specs, because this will be designed so that everyone with a computer with 2 gigs of ram can handle it.

Concerning MAC compatible, look at other MMO's. If they are MAC compatible, this will be too. My personal guess is yes, it likely will be.

I'd really like to disagree. WoW is you do a qwest and you do mostly the same type of qwest lines throughout the whole game(example qwests to kill certain npcs) and do not have much decision based effects, such as Bioware have said they were going to make this game like.
