For history class I had to write a 5 paragraph essay on what I would do if I could go back in time (I know that's stupid but I'm 10) and I wrote the whole thing about Johnny, Joey, Tommy, and Dee Dee and going back to see them in concert! I got an F and a surprised teacher but it was all worth it! I don't care about history cause that's not where I wanna be! For the rest of my life enjoying these dudes I'm gonna headbang to heaven!

For Me, The Ramones are at least my favorite group to listen to if not my favorite of all time. I haven't listened to anything past "It's Alive", but I am still assured its all I need (But I do have the rest). They put my guitar playing together at a time when I was getting all progressive. Suddenly the moment I heard the first Ramones album (Which I got at the Library, just for my passion of "Blitzkreig Bop"). Now I feel a need wherever I go for....RAMONES!

Wow, that's really them on the top of their game, great stuff! I always thought Tommy was the best drummer for The Ramones. Marky was good, but basically too good. I also think Dee Dee should have sung background on "Cretin Hop", among other songs.

I was lucky enought to see The Ramones in 1996 at the Brixton Academy. It was, without doubt, the most violent concert I have ever been to, kicking off all over the place. Not only were blokes pissing in the sinks, they were also pissing up the wall outside the bogs and elsewhere.

An excellent night as I recall, it's shame they're all dead now.

\Watch the DVD "End of the Century" - what a bunch of dysfunctional sociopaths - and I mean that in the nicest possible way - they are punk icons.

This whole soundtrack is overdubbed to hell. Listen to the intro of Cretin Hop for a clue. Johnny does the intro, and when everybody else comes in there is a double-tracked guitar. I thought the whole show sounded a bit too lively musically. Shame. I'd prefer to hear it raw. Whilst it makes good viewing, this isn't what the Ramones sounded like live. Backing vocals have definitely been re-recorded, and the bass doesn't sound/look convincingly original either.
