  • Loved the reverse video part. As if to throw the plane away from his! LOL... Very Nice Save! Great reaction! Nothing worse than taking out 2 or more planes in 1 landing! Loved the "Look Back" too. Great share! ~~Robert.

  • Nice Save...: )

  • Pkane was sold the soon afterwards.

  • Awesome

  • Bob is actually a close relative of Chuck Norris, when asked how he did this he shrugged and said, "the Laws of Chuck"

  • Great save! :-D

  • The guy's name is Bob Born. Get it "Born to be Wild"? Everytime I make a video with Bob in it the music plays. Do I have to explain everything? It's sad, really.

  • @Hillville Sad that you have to play the music???

  • Nice save. The music is distracting and annoying.

  • Uff por que poco

  • i dont blane the guy that pitts is butifull

  • Nice gentle touchdown though... trainers can be fun too..... good catch there... saved two birds with one quick thought!!!!

Sucks when you lose a flyin' field too.. know how that feels.

  • I particularly like his reverse launch, after the thing has happened!

  • He should try C/L F2C, make a great pitman...

  • HOLY CRAP! That biplane and the other aircraft were waaaay close to the active runway... like... why?! Most fields I've been to have a fence or something splitting the pits from the active runway! Lucky the spinner didn't take out his man berries!

  • I love seeing the vets save the rookies' asses

  • good save ,should have been a goalie lol

  • Seth is a hero!!

  • I'd like to see how he handles an AutoRotation... ;-)

  • ...with his teeth!

  • @Hillville ....pylon racer?

  • Be glad it was deadstick :P

  • Lol nice. But he could have pulled the other plane back instead? Lesser pain.

  • Hindsight is 20-20. You also can't see all the vehicles parked behind the runway. The plane would have hit a car. NO-this was the best choice made in a split second.

  • @Hillville Agree! If he would go for the other plane, I`m guessing that would not go

    painfull.

  • ooooooomg! luuucky!

  • skill, nice

  • legal...

  • ohhhh my hand ! lol nice vid =)

  • unbelievable- nice catch !!!

  • Sheeeeeeeee-it !!!! Somebody give that guy a goalie stick...and the VEZINA. Beauty save!

  • Whats the name of the song? That pilot was born to be wild. Nice catch. Servo reversed?

  • i know seth good man

  • Catch? He let it bounce!! Where's the commitment I ask??? Nice vid.

  • anyone guesstimate the difficulty in flying rc planes 10 being the hardest?

  • Well it depends on what plane you are looking at but if you get a trainer you will have no problem im 15 and have been flying for a couple years and learned on a e-flite apprentice that is hobbytowns where i work and it is a great starter and a lot of fun but compared to helicopters which i also have it is a lot easier but get what you want and have fun if your scared to fly it by yourself rite away like we all are then have a experienced pilot buddy box you where the remotes are connected!!!

  • All are easy as pie as long as you are willing to put the practice in.

  • go try thats with a 150cc plane with the motor on :P

  • I agree 100% !! A bubby-box is the way to go when training.....Good save Seth!

  • That pilot SHOULD NOT be flying on his own! He needs a buddy box for sure! If you can't even keep your plane tracking straight on approach and landing, you're a liability to the rest of the field. And deadstick too, it's going so slow and is easy to control.

  • you almost crash it,but still very nice landing =]

  • Love how u edited the video...very entertaining.

  • That guy almost got free knee surgery. Good save!

  • Let's go over this one more time. It was a temp field. You can't tell, but the cars had to be parked in the tall grass. We could only mow a strip. So we parked on the edge of the runway and sat our planes at the edge of the runway. Imagine a hay field with a runway, where would you keep your planes, somewhere in the tall grass to be tripped over. We were lucky to continue our flying when we lost our field in June. Imagine losing your field in June, seriously.

  • I'm sure you would never stick your finger in a prop, but I bet you have. Tell me B4its2L8guy, are you perfect? Have you heard that hindsight is 20/20. I bet your one of those Monday morning quarterbacks as well.

  • i'm especially surprised at that guy being able to launch it backwards afterwards :)

  • i could of done the same, but i would have caught it instead becasue the wind from the kadet placed a smooth little scratch on that $1000 used to be flawless plane, dont you think so?

  • That was a great save. Maybe just don't park all the planes so close to the runway and leave them in the car when a novice is learning to fly hahahahahahah.....

  • We lost our field and this was a temporary situation. We now have a landfill and set it up the way a field should be arranged.

  • yep...great save!!!. I would have dove in front of the plane to save mine.

  • Nice stop

That prop could've chopped off yer tally wacker

  • The prop wasn't spinning when he caught it!! But it would of made a lovely dent anyway...

  • The video is in slow motion most of the time. Could you imagine the $100 Kadet busting up the leading edge of the $1000 Biplane. I should have mentioned that the Bipe was recently maidened. The plane is flawless and any scratch or dent would have been too much.

  • Wow, I didn't know that. Good thing he caught it!

  • $1000 for that bipe? that seems really high for something so small. the kadet looks slightly bigger, and a 10th of the cost, who's the fool?

plus who can argue with the way that thing floats in ground effect?

  • lear to fly!

  • learn to spell!

  • The stance and using both hands were great, but it's keeping his eyes on the plane that saved the day.

  • it's worse when you need to do that at a show because a pilot that should know better decides it's a smart idea to taxi back to the pitts

  • been there done that ,,,more than once, and im not reffering to the pilot ,but the catcher, and theres been occasions where ive had to run and grab a transmitter from a noob to prevent an imminent disaster

  • Haha. NICE

  • LOL true.

  • nice video nad nice catch :)

  • yes he could, because the yankees suck so bad they need this guy

  • nice vid and nice song

  • Nice :o)

  • oo big hit. forget fielding he shud be on the football pitch putting in the big hits. very funny!

  • The guy has a mutated face

  • that was crap

  • hahahahahaha great video!!! tell that guy that he is very lucky!!!

  • im not sure that needed so many replays but ok.

  • nice

  • He should have moved the plane on the ground, less pain and damage to the plane landing.

Either that, or should have kicked the plane trying to land.

  • Great f...ing catch

  • bloody good catch mate:)

  • Lenhe o teu, mas não o meu!...

  • a hand to the guy. ive flowen a RC plane, not exactly a peace of cake, + they hurt!

  • nice save!

  • the commentary was freakin funny =)

  • That was close... =0

  • The guy flying the plane just returned to flying after a 10 year lay off. At the time, our temp. field was only about 30 feet wide. Tough for a guy with a little rust. Since this strip was temporary and free, we were lucky to have any flight line at all. Yes, the flight line was close but at least we had one. NO IT WOULD NOT BE FUNNY IF SOMEONE GOT HURT. There was slight damage to the plane. Broke a former and there was a handprint in the LE sheeting.

  • Nice catch, damn lucky he wasn't away or something. Both hearts must have been beating like hell.

  • i would have laughed if the wing came off

  • lol does that then falls backward on his plane that woulda been funny

  • hahaha that whould of been a perfect landing if you where on target lol :)

  • That guy has huge balls! Almost lost 'em... nice save!

  • good catch dude for better comady he should have jumped over it

  • Our club recently lost our field and we are lucky enough to have a temp field to fly. It is what it is.

  • Maybe your ' Pitts ' area shouldnt be so close to the flight line !

  • man that didnt look that bard

  • left rudder next time to bring it away from the flight line!. nice flare though.

  • no shit!!! I think he knows that now!!!!!!!!!!

  • obvious as that may be to you mr. fruitaloopes, it may not be so obvious to another viewer who cold find themsleves in a similar situation and they, just by chance may rememeber that a bit of rudder would have avoided that potentially dangerous/fatal outcome.

What makes you think that the guy does know that now? do you know him? have you asked him? or are you so self centred that misguided that you just taken it that you consider that everyone else thinks the same as you?

  • lol rudder left

  • This incident was not a planned occurrence. Why would anybody suggest to try with the engine running. What a moron. Super video Hillville.

  • way to not lose you nuts, try it again w/ the engine running :)
