I have a herb question. Do you know why adding a half an onion when making a sauce works out well but, adding a full onion doesn't. Any idea why? It just seems to lose it's flavor.
I tried this lastnight and it worked out very well. Do you have any other flavor combos that could be put under the skin? I could see this being a very flexable dish.
i think almost any Mediterranean herb combo would work - a little garlic, olive oil, or butter if you don't mind the calories combined with tarragon, or rosemary (but easy on the rosemary its powerful)- a premixed herb blend like herbs de province, or fines herbs or basil and oregano ... you name it, i just wouldn't combine too many different herbs - keep it simple
After that you turned the bird over and said you were going to turn on the center burner but you didn't but after the 10 minute mark the center burner was on and the one on the left side was off. Also what temperatures were you using ( High Medium or Low and at which times were you using those temperatures.
Sorry that the grill directions weren't clearer. I do heat the center burner to get the grill hot, then turn it off after I put the chicken on it so the fat doesn't cause a fire. I turned the center burner on when I turned the bird over, off camera - sorry. I used medium temp on all burners and the grill reached
I'm a little confused. I noticed when you started on the grill the center burner was on, yet you said you were using indirect heat. Then after the 15 minute mark when you restarted the camera the center burner was off. When did you turn off the center burner?
yes, did you move?

Your kitchen is beautiful. You must have moved before you made this video because in the previous videos your kitchen looked different.

Excellent, thanks for the advice. I must admit I have put too many herbs together in the past and it never seems to work out.
Thanks,
John
