That's the beat the Egyptians call "malfoof" with his hands, accents on the 1s (12312312). The bass drum is layered underneath, on the first 1 and the second 2. Every four measures, he does a resolution roll into the next cycle. Looks like this, superimposed:

guys its a pretty easy groove if you count it the Right hand is constantly hitting the floortom while the left hand gets the first and second toms RLRLRLhe is just splitting it up beween the drums R-Floor tom- L-first tom R- Floor tom L-second tom RL- floor tom Hope this helps
