@Amayaxchan He did fail at executing the illusion, since most everyone can see him slipping the band off and putting it back on. The point is to maintain an illusion.. which he obviously didn't do. So yeah. He failed.

That's electric tape that has been used to bind his hands together. Try it at home. Get someone to bind your thumbs together and see how difficult it is to get out. Rather challenging.

Take a Couple of viewing but you can see that he fiddles quickly with his hands after they go through. Still clever though if you only see it once could easily slice ya hand open if you misstime it!
