MPOD, do you even watch Iowa football? Sash is already gone, to the NY Giants. Coe did not qualify academically and is going to Iowa Western CC. And Morris is not a recruit, he started the second half of the season last year, earning freshman all-american honors.
As for Iowa, no way sash will leave and yea were bringing in Coe and Morris, at least one of them a 4-Star if i recall correctly. You will want to watch what Coker does THIS season, as his progressions have been huge this year and he can only improve. Mr. McNutt will be our feature to this offense, assisting Vandenberg largely. 8-4 season is my prediction.
I know DJK as a family friend, and he is a great young man! He's very respectful and polite. As for his drug charges, that was something he got pulled into and couldn't get out of. It was a bad mistake, he accepts that, and we all know everyone makes mistakes.

Yes, I was pissed when I found out what he'd done and it was obvious that the team was missing him during the Insight Bowl. But the fact that they were able to pull out a victory in the end just goes to show that, although he was/is a great player, he's not the only one.

@herkey23 I agree. I've been a huge Marvin McNutt fan for the past 2 seasons and from what we've seen so far from Coker, I already like him way more than I ever did Robinson. Just hope he doesn't turn out to be a disappointment.
@Silmarion09 Ferentz said that Coker is even a better person off the field then on, which i thought was funny because he was dissin AR and DJK which they deserve because they let the team down. and McNutt is going to be an all star, he just needs a little bit more speed
@herkey23 Yeah I remember hearing that comment too. McNutt definitely needs more speed and Coker needs to work on pass protection. But once that happens I'll be pretty confident in the O-line. Of course, I'd feel a lot better if there was some depth. If Coker goes down I'll probably cry.
@Silmarion09 yea i prob wud cry too but we also need a stonger pass defense hopefully sash and idk how old greenwood is but i hope they both will be back next year and we will still have prater and hyde so we need to coach em up just a lil bit
@herkey23 I doubt we'll be losing Sash but Greenwood is a senior. I'm assuming they'll bring up Miller (I think that's the second string's name...) to take Greenwood's place. Haven't seen him play so I really can't say whether or not he'll be enough to cover for the loss of Greenwood. Hopefully he can.
