You should have put a clamp on DC Ammeter to the Shorted cell and see how much current was going through that cell! That would be just above the max load you could get out of these cells!!!
In any science test you need to have controlled aspects, and specific details on the test being conducted.
As far as I can see from here, you proved that these batteries, whatever they may be, respond in a similar method to any other battery being shot or shorted.
Please update the info on this test. I would like to know what the test is?
Any other Lithium Ion battery would have burst into violent flames and probably exploded. All you got here was arcs and smoke. LiFePO4 rocks!

They don't respond similarly to other kinds of lithium-ion cells. (Notice how they didn't explode).

lithium-ion cells are diferent than Lithium iron phosphate cells (lifepo4 are much safer)

Belive me I know. I'm building a motorcycle :). LiFePO4 cells are still a type of lithium ion battery. LiCoO2 batteries explode.
