Bought mine last November, except that mine is NOT GORE-TEX type, but Temperate Weather type.
So far the boots haven't fail me yet, in preventing water from sap in the boots. And I'm living in a tropical climate area, which rain is more often. I usually walk through water puddles as if I'm walking on dry land, and my feet stay dry.
The only thing that bother me is that the sole can be a lil' bit slippery when it wet, especially is it in contact with metal surface( like car gas pedal & ship deck) or tiled floor.
Yep. Last winter in romania we had some pretty harsh months. Used them all day long(8-12hours) in snow and, in the evening, my feet were never damp. You have to take into consideration that these boots are "temperate" type, so if you'll stay still for a while, your feet will get cold pretty quick.
you are awesome for making this. it informative but also funny, i wish i could have been there to see a guy standing in a lake walking in circles. hahaha :D nice video.

Trace the Sea, Left over Right...
I was issued these and they're alright...Danner's are definitely the way to go if you want long term durability and comfort though.
