Interesting interpretation of this piece. The tempo was a bit fast for my taste. Sounded like chatter rather than a mesmerizing chant. Not enough contrast between the sections.
I commissioned Hatfield and he worked with my young women on the piece he wrote for us. He is not a "strange" guy. He's really quite a genius at not only composing, but working with musicians.
