Your moniters arnt properly set up, there is a software to fine tuning them, cant remember what it is called though.

but between the monitors you have black space, that means you lose that space in game too and cant see if there a opponent ??

in games like that is every 0.01 sec important...

@monstero111 - you see the normal field of view that you would with one monitor on the middle monitor,, the rest is absolute bonus,, and in 3-4 years ive never once been affected by the monitor "bezels" - check another vid to see how bezels work 'Matrox DTH2Go Bezel Management - WSGF Review' and 'Matrox analog bezel management solution' - to understand it more

@monstero111 idiot... Nothing goes in the black space... all it is is the frame around the monitor. Even with the frame its the same as 3 put together with no frame just positioned so they aren't touching each other.

hi m8t just bin checking my game , and iv just realised its counterstrike contidition zero not counterstrike source which is a newer version so iv just ordered cs source which is listed on the sgu list of configurable games so this is probably the fault an old game. what do you think cheers for the help

@garethjukes hehe DOHHh yeah that will be the problem, just download Steam as you may find it alot cheaper on there and you can download it within an hour ( i use steam to buy pretty much all my games now ) - most new games have the rez inbuilt and the older ones (eg bioshock) had the support in a later patch - let me know how u go on once you get cs:s =)

hi, its the digital version,with analog cable this seems to hav the most available settings, with 3 19" monitors analog attached with analog to dvi converter connectors iv just upgraded the firmware and just reinstalled steam,would this make a diffrence by installing steam after installing the matrox.wat res do i pic in the steam dayofdefeat-counterstrike- res menu and wat res do i set my desktop,and wat res do i choose in the matrox power desk or dont i use that??,cheers

did you use the sgu software that came with matrox, can you send me your settings e.g display properties settings and the matrox powerdesk settings as i think my saetting are all over the place, no matter how i try i still cant seem to get the game to fill all 3 screens all of the centre screen and 3/4 of the both outside screens. cheers

@garethjukes - Nah i didnt use the sgu software with this,, cs has always just found the rez in game =S - A few questions,, is your matrox analogue or digi version? have you upgraded the firmware in the triple head box? have you reinstalled cs since the matrox was installed? (i would - to be honest rebuild windows if your adding such a big change to ya pc anyways)

hi mate,yeah looking on the screen video settings tab in day of defeat i guess counterstrike are both the same , iv got no video setting for 3840x1024 in widescreen is there any thing i need to get these settings cheers for the help.

@garethjukes - Theres 3 aspect ratios,, i think i choose the middle one and the rez`s automatically appear,,, if that dont work update all of the software for the matrox box (ive just had a firmware upgrade on mine d/l from matrox site,,, then try game again,, if still nothing,, uninstall game and reinstall as the rez is drefinately native to the game!!

iv set up my triplehead to go on 3 19" monitors but the game wont reach or fill all 3 screens iv got about 3" of screen left each side, how do i get it to fill all screens as you have there. cheers gareth south wales uk

@garethjukes Hi M8,, If you go to the options video tab, and change the aspect ratio to Widescreen 16:9 then change the rez to 3840x1024 and apply,, that should do it..

or alternatively it sounds like your bezel management is on - open matrox software and check the bezel management and turn it off (uncheck it) see if that does it

pretty sweet setup. just wondering, does it just cut off the top of the 16:9 version of the game, or does it somehow make you have a wider viewing angle? just a note: you should get 3 of the same monitors so the colors are right.

Nah it doesnt cut of any playing area, just gives v wide viewing space (rez 3840x1024).. gives me a slight advantage as i can see more of the map (dont make me any better tho =(

ill get 3 same mons one day but you cant notice the colour/brightness diff to the naked eye, the cam picks it up, plus when all 3 are straight at ya head its fine could just be the angle =D

nahhh, its a native rez to the game so its fine,, doesnt give much advantage just looks and feels soo amazin to play on,, rolls royce of gaming

wow yeah I like it! but you needed the matrox adapter to get it working yeah? or you using 2 video cards NOT running in sli for this to happen

Yeah you need a Matrox triple head to go box (mine an analogue version), pc is running 2 x ATI Radeon HD 2900 XTs 512mb crossfired and visual feed is still coming out of one card into the matrox box which then splits it into the 3 mons,, game rez is 3840x1024
