Amazing how it seems more news is coming out of say Pensacola which is looking Nasty then down your way at the Bullseye and the mute voices of many Big name Celeb; Animal rights shouters Wheres fat Ass Micheal Moore ? Seen only one news interview with Spike Lee these people usually live for these Rightous Ops. George Bush Don't like Black People , Guess Obama Don't Like Crab People !
Great reporting --don't let the naysayers get to you down and keep up the good work. It sounds like the "sky rats" (seagulls) seem to be smarter than the rest of us. Please be careful with your health and mind the hazards you can't see -- please wear a respirator when you are outside!. These toxins sneak up on you and mimick the flu and headache and a general fogginess; and the damage is permanent.
Documenting with a hand held GPS unit is a good method. Placing that information on maps; on a website; is another good method. If you put the GPS coordinates on the site, environmental activists can put your documented sites and findings into a very sophisticated mapping and database software called geographic information systems (GIS). It is imperative that you make accurate readings in coordination with the documentation.
HistoryTours, please, for your own safety and the well being of your family, since you want to document this which is admirable, please use a respirator and good thick set of rain gear and coveralls, and umm, gloves, industrial solvent worthy gloves, and some eye protection, like safety goggles or glasses. Throw on a wet suit too if you have it. Just the gases that are coming off of the water there is toxic and carcinogenic and I want to know you (and others helping) are as safe as possible.
Aint no way I come any closer than 200 miles to the Gulf Coast,Im already 350 miles away, Sadly I dont see too many people on the Gulf waking up,including my friends in Biloxi and Gulfport.its sad that a hard head and lust for material things, would get in the way of people saving there own lives,.Its a damn shame the way shit is going down
Here is the answer BP is being charged $4300.00 a barrel of oil, instead of it going to Gov, it should be paid out as a bounty to anyone who can suck up the oil, within 3 weeks you could not find any oil anywhere BC millions of boats would be out there waiting on it to bubble up, this kills two birds with one stone, if the Gov gets the money we will see not one dime.
you appear to be a sensible fellow. Just please get out! Breathing the fumes will do damage. If you smell it, you are breathing it. Gas masks are useless againts benzine. Just Please GO and get OUT!
@1mealperday believe me if I could we would have ben gone days ago but big moves require big money I am working extra shifts and saving we should be able to leave in a few weeks
I saw a story yesterday where a baby dolphin came up to shore crying and covered in oil. People tried to help it and save it, but it died on the way to the vet. I cry for the innocent life out there, and even the not-so-innocent humans who will become victims of sickness and death due to this. I'm just so sick of seeing pain and suffering everywhere! What a sad reality we are in with this gusher.
goo dwork my friend. i got a buddy living in my apt's that flew last week and this next week to video and photo the gulf in his plane...said new orleans gulfport miss and pensacola are oil covered done for now.mail your newspaper clippings & photographs of the oil disaster to: Frontier Motel, P.O. Box 948, Granby , CO 80446 ...for inclusion in the Gulf Oil Spill Disaster Scrapbook
@problyontheredlist when we went out into the gulf this past monday the oil was about 5 miles offshore I figured 2 or 3 days and it would be on the beach what I do not get is we saw no cleanup whatsoever none!
If there is one thing that one can bet the farm on, it is that nothing this White House does is by accident and everything about this White House is long on the symbolic. The federal government shut down the dredging that was being done.
Seemingly inexplicably, the White House has largely taken a “hands off” approach -- apart from talking about it, that is. In short, it seems as if the White House is simply allowing the spill to proceed.
@RedNeckEDU I am hoping to actually be relocated within the next 2 weeks the risk is simply not worth ignoring so this next trip out on monday will be the last we will do. conditions are getting worse by the day here
you should compile all of your video evidence and send it to anyone you can think of to ge this out.I was horrified by the oil rain vid you did. That makes it a much bigger problem than just a gulf coast problem. Oil is turning up in oysters at restaraunts. The great culling has begun.
@MYAR15SaysImFree The conditions along the gulf coast are rapidly going down hill at this point my greatest concern in Oil Coated ships passing through metro new orleans residents drinking water intakes along the Mississippi River we will be covering the Oil on monday
@HistoryTours keep up the good work. Get yourself some 3m respirators. And stay safe. And dont wait for them to relocate you. Get out before the herds if you can and head northwest if possible.
@rvlqcitizen maybe we should take back the millions of acres of landgrabs from the gov. Boom problem solved. Ths US giv owns almost 80% of Utah. Why, so they can control all the natural resources.
I just can't wait for humans to say, "You know what? I've had enough. No more bullshit!"

How could something like this happen and continue to happen? Why can't I stop using oil?!?!?
Our country desperately needs a petroleum addicts recovery clinic.
More bike lanes please!!!!
