This addon used to be superb. Just came back to the game after 18 months though and it seems to have gone downhill, which is a real shame. I guess with the built in quest features Blizz added, this addon got put on the shelf.

the annotation at 1:46 isn't exactly correct, my AddOns folder is exactly where you say it is in the video and I use Vista... I don't even have anything in the games folder, as a matter of fact.

after patch 3.3 came out my quest helper started messing up, as expected this happens when a new patch came out (i didnt know that) and a "questhelper" was automatically put into peoples maps... now its showing quests on the map that i was working on days ago..and it wont auto update when i finish a quest or start a new one.

do I need to update my questhelper? and if so how do i? :(

you don't have to do it this way guys! You can download the Curse client and search questhelper on the 'WoW addon section' then the Curse program does it all for you! you have to look at the character screen on whatever server, click on it, and tick the questhelper! thats all there is to it, Captain, I'm not trying to correct you or anything, but this isn't the only way to do it.

You can use the Curse client if you like. Personally I do not trust automated update programs not made by Blizzard.

alliance suck lol you only see alliance attacking little horde place like the xroads. i saw about 25 night elves at the xroads attacking the people. horde bring about 25 people to storm big cities like the Exodar. The only reason i might even consider haveing an ally character is for the Draenei.

you have to "my computer" open up "local disk" then open "program files", then open up the world of warcraft folder that is in there then go to interface, the addon folder should be in there

Hey, I'm on the Trial version and decided to use QuestHelper. It is "installed" correctly as the Add-On button is on the Log-in screen with QuestHelper listed. When it is enabled, the loading bar only reaches half way on the loading screen when I log on before WoW crashes. When it is disabled, I log in fine.

it works on vista... just go to ur wow folder, go to interface (on mine its the 2nd from the top) double click u should see addons go in there... u should see a long list that all start with blizzard... after download it should be in there. FYI (i used the curse client to download the addon) ill make a vid sometime maybe

The creator is being a pussy. Bliz has insituted a new policy that addons requiring or soliciting donations are now against the rules. As with most addon creators who profit by modifying blizzard's work, he ran crying when his cash cow died, and yanked his addon off of host sites.

I succesfully installed this, and its run smooth so far, that is until I got to Tranquellin and it said it broke after i got a few quests there. And now, after I uninstalled it, it broke my map, as of now, anywhere new i go on my map, my map shows it as if i was never there and keeps it hidden, FUCK THIS QUESTHELPER THING!
