@PerinSmith Same here, but I have a lab, and lots of people are scared of his deep bark, but all he does is lick you. haha. I've spents lots of time with big dogs and a little time with small dogs. I've only been bit 3 times, and all of those times it was those grouchy little dogs!! Why do people think they're so sweet, and fear the gentle giants??
@kmyres14 Danes ,Mastiffs and Labs and Big dogs in general I have had zip problems with. I was bit and needed stitches from a miniature poodle because the tint babe was scared of everyone but the primary care giver. I had 10 stitches. was very happy the lil darling was tiny ..lol.
do they get along good because i was thinking adopting a great dane boxer mix and i have a chihuahua right now i just want to no if the chihuahua will be ok
@goawaysleepy I have a chihuahua and a puppy great dane. I think if you are strict and teach them to respect each other in the beginning then it will be okay. I think it more depends on the chihuahua because the great dane is so mellow and loving with other pups. Chihuahuas can be territorial so I think it depends more on the little chi than the big dane.

Chewing on a pumpkin? The only things I could get my great danes to chew on were cheesburgers, slices of pizza, and donuts.

Beautiful harle! Isn't it typical, while the little dog runs and jumps the whole time, the Dane just patiently works on its project. Fun.
