My wife and I used to listen to Kim Richey during long road trips across Oregon. Along with Ryan Bingham, Lucinda Williams, and other greats. This always makes me feel nostalgic.
@SayYesToReason - What a GREAT song to drive along to. I love Kim Richey, must check out Ryan Bingham, have nothing by him at all. Thanks, appreciated your memories. Steve :-)
You say it is a pop-country song but to me it sounds mostly as country. I like the music very much, it's captivating and I am grateful again to you for sharing and introducing a new singer. I do like the shifting colours in this video, it's beautiful. Ami xx
@Novali95 - Ami, the actual genre is called 'New Country' and in the 1990's was very big in the United States. I listened every week to Country Countdown that was broadcast in the UK on late Sunday nights. One day, at the HMV sale in Bond Street, they had a sale and I purchased 43 albums, ranging from 0.99p to 2.99p. The days of bucket shops, record bargains are sadly missed. Just glad you like the post and thanks for the comment.
