Soooo many of the lyrics are wrong in the video. The chorus is: "Our time is over, don't you know that if a time warp was opened, I'd stay right in my place. THAT war is over." The lyrics you've put on the video don't even make any sense. He's supposed to be saying that he doesn't want her back and it's finished, not whatever the hell your lyrics imply.

From them I learned about other great bands like the Arctic Monkeys, the Vacines, and Arcade Fire. This is one of those songs that you either get or don't.

Not saying I've completely cracked the words, for you can interpret it in so many ways: breaking up, unrequited love, the inevitable destruction of life and humanity.

Personally, I got a "take what you can now" sort of vibe from the lyrics. There are too many people who die with loose ends and regrets. When I go, I wanna be able to say I've made my life worth living.
